DL5 - What occasioned this outburst of personal attack on Radioman2 and me? All either of us asked of you -- and in as civil a manner as possible -- was that you support your assertions with Scripture. What we asked was in full accord with stated Forum practices. Your personal attacks on Radioman2 and me are not. Please cool it, brother. --Hank

Hank, look at John 3:10,Every time I answer a question here, there is something said, I can understand those that are not on the meat of the word getting up set but for those that are supposed to know the scriptures its disterbing. Jesus told Nicodemus, your supposed to know the truth. And sence robert wanted thoughts, I felt no scripture was required, only my interpretation. Others who have quit this forum had the same experence, when they expressed their view, someone wanted to put them down and use some mans interpretation from the 70ad or 1890s or something. You have a lot of wisdom in Gods word all you need to do is what Paul said, I am all things to all men that I might win some. When in the past a gave a different interpretation, I was put down , wasnt that also against the guidelines. Ill probably leave the forum also. DL5

DL5 - Friend, perhaps I'm not thinking straight, but for the life of me I can't possibily understand why you would consider it a "put down" to be asked to present scriptural grounds upon which you allegedly based your assertions. ..... You say, "I felt no scripture was requred, only my interpretation." And, DL5, I must ask you: interpretation of what? Since you cited no Scripture, evidently feeling none was needed, just exactly what were you interpreting? Does it seem reasonable to you -- it surely does to me -- that when a person asserts that Jesus taught thus-and-so, he should be prepared to back up his assertion with passages of Scripture which show conclusively that Jesus did in fact teach it. ..... If you decide to leave the Forum, as you have twice mentioned, because someone on the Forum asked you to back up your opinions with Scripture, perhaps that is the path you should take. --Hank
