Hi Rosalie, Since you know the answer already, I will give you some Scriptures to compare and consider. I will however suggest a lower case "holy spirit". Luke 1:15, "For he [John] will be great in the sight of the *Lord, and he will drink no wine or liquor; and he will be filled with the *holy *spirit, while yet in his mother's womb. And he will turn back many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God./" Matthew 11:18, "For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon!' The Son of *Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Behold a gluttonous *man [see NKJ, a glutton] and a drunkard, a friend of tax-gatherers and sinners!' Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds." Then He began to reproach the cities in which most of His/ miracles were done, because they did not repent." John 1:32, "And John bore witness saying, "I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. And I did not recognize Him, but (He) who sent me to baptize in water said to me, 'He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the *One [NASB, 1995] who baptizes in the *holy *spirit.' "And I have seen , and have borne witness that this is the Son of God./" John 1:31b, "...but in order that *He [yes, even this One] might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water." John the baptist was filled with the holy spirit while yet in his mother's womb. Luke 1:15. From the heart, Ray |
