1 | Did Mary and Joseph not know ? | Matthew | justme | 55677 | ||
Remodeled: Luke 1:26 to56 is pretty clear Mary knew right away. Matthew 1:18 to 25 says more about Joseph. I am sure as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, Mary and Joseph had to be confused. Who has ever had a perfect child? Who could imagine having such a child, say nothing about knowing how to parent the SON of the HOLY GOD? For me it is unthinkable to grasp what they went through. I would ponder at things a lot, myself. I believe They knew, but learned more as time went on. That's my thoughts and what I gleam from scripture. What do you think? agape, justme |

justme, I agree totally. I think the answer is also in John 2 verses3,4,and 5. It states that when they ran out of wine the mother of Jesus said unto him they have no wine. Jesus replied "woman what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.His mother siad to the servants whatsoever he saith unto you do it. This is evidence she knew then who he was. But I think they knew from the start, cause the angels told them . Raising God's son had to be a tough job. Try to picture rearing a child who has all wisdom and knowledge. Had to be tough.
