Scripture ... 1 Chr 3:10-16 (2 Chr) ... Greetings Chearie, The Bible does say who was the father of Joel, so we don't know. This is first mention of a Joel in the line of Rueben. I haven't found anyone to give an answer to this question. Gog was the grandson of Joel. I base this on the royal line (1 Chr 3:10-16), where each "his son" was the next generation. Read 2 Chronicles to confirm that. Hope this helps, Searcher |

3 | The correct lineage of Joel? | 1 Chr 5:4 | Chearie | 47147 | ||
Thanks searcher I am doing a geneology of all the people noted in the bible and I guess Joel will have to stand alone until I can how he connects to Reuben. I have found it very interesting to trace what I can of the old testament and see again so clearly how God has been involved in the lives of His people. He is truly wonderful. Thanks again for trying to help. |
