1 | 2Kings 3:16 version discrepancy, ESV/NAS | 2 Kin 3:16 | Psionspace | 204032 | ||
I appreciate the other verses which clarify the context. However, I am more interested in the potential variations due to source text; Codex Sinaiticus, Alexandrinus, Vaticanus, etc. Or even more generally, Byzantine family of texts, versus Alexandian. as well as translational reasons for the difference. In short I am looking for specifics. The ESV is generally viewed as a very accurate translation, as is the NASB, etc. Thank you for replying however! Still searching for the answer..Psionspace |

Hi again Psionspace: Hope Im not bothering you but, Im courious. I personally have used the KJV since I got saved, and have never felt the need to study any other trans. I use a Strong's concordance, and a Greek interliner bible, in conjunction with the KJV, the only other book I use, is the Matthew Henery Commentary. I use it sparingly, most times just to see what things were believed way back in our brief history. sorry for any inconveniance. have a happy! ! |
