emmaus-thx for reply--you say "it affirms the promise of the ressurection---" but you aren't talking about "ressurection" .you are talking about translation--quite a different thing. in HIM angel1
2 | Elijah went to heaven alive | 2 Kin 2:11 | Emmaus | 36769
Angel, The resurrection and assumption into the presence of God is a translation. It is all of one piece. After Jesus rose he also ascended to the right hand of the Father. Kind of difficult to enter heaven without the glorified body don't you think? Emmaus |

3 | Elijah went to heaven alive | 2 Kin 2:11 | angel1 | 36770
hi emmaus--"translation" is what happened to Elija--alive and taken bodily. I'm surprised you didn't pick up on my mistake. I know mary was supposed to have died before assumption then taken bodily up ---so what? We will all rise at the ressurection with glorified bodies. all the assumption theory states is mary was ressurected before the general ressurection---AND there is NO scriptural evidence for it. in HIS name only-angel one
