Greetings again, TommyS! It is interesting that God chooses ravens here in 1 Kings 17:6 for Elijah, when He chose manna for Israel (Ex. 16:13-36). But, like Candy Lee said, Elijah did not eat the ravens as the Israelites ate the manna, but only the bread and meat that they brought for him. Also, here's what Jesus had to say about what is "clean" and "unclean": "And He said to them, "Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?"
