God's day to you, brazos. It does say so, as far as I can recall, in the Bible. In the movie, Solomon and Sheba with Yul Brynner and Gina Lollobrigida, there is a scene like that. I know that Rehoboam made shields of bronze to replace Solomon's gold ones (2 Chr 12:9-10). I thought Hezekiah polished them, because bronze needs it to look more like gold ... but, can't recall the verse. Continue to ask questions - it sharpens minds - gets ride of the rust. Searcher |
