6 | Was Jesus happy and content ? | Psalm | heisthe1 | 44718
Hello, That would be an excellent question to the one who first posted this question. Let me ask you, is there a difference between "feeling happy or "being" happy? In your last post you stated "Can we be content when we are deeply distressed". So why didn't you just come out and say you were refering to Mark 14:33. Thank God that you haven't been distressed to the point of shedding sweat of blood :) as it is written in Luke 22:44 (or have you?). But anyway, what do you say? God Bless You !!! |

8 | Was Jesus happy and content ? | Psalm | heisthe1 | 44755
Hello, I "want" a lot things too. However Mr. searcher, Mark 14:35-36, "Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. v.36, Abba, Father, he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will." Not what I will, but what You will "is" a prayer of great faith and trust in God; if such a prayer insults God, then Jesus here insults His Father. So if you're not insulting your Father are you distressed or Happy? Hey searcher, I wonder what happened to ANNLEE? God bless you, happy searcher56 |
