2 | WHY DAVID WROTE THE BOOK OF PSALMS? | Psalm | Morant61 | 20696 | ||
Response.................... Greetings Charlotte! The book of Psalms is a collection of songs which were used in private and temple worship. Some of them are prayers, some are praises, and some are complaints. Not all of the Psalms were written by David. Most were written by him, but some were written by other singers of the temple. The story of David and Bathsheba can be found in 2 Samuel 11. David's response to his sin with Bathsheba can be found in Psalm 51. I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
