God saw Moses as a man with a moldable malleable heart ("spiritual heart", noted Senior Pastor Rony Tan, in a past sermon at a Healing Miracle Service, in his church, Lighthouse Evangelism, Singapore) ((expanded comment on "spiritual heart":spiritual heart has nothing to do with our organic/body/bodily/physical heart, though having a morally corrupt spiritual heart can result in ill health even to the physical heart. Hundreds of years ago when horses were used for transport and war, the best thinkers (philosophers, courtiers, writers, knights, nobility, royalty, poets divines etc) of the Western kingdoms in agreement with much of the Ancient World (China, India empires and kingdoms etc) determined and concluded that emotions, higher thinking and spirituality is closely tied to the spiritual heart (((part 3 more info expanded comments (((you may note that the best person in the Bible to write of the spiritual heart, King David who wrote many Psalms, wrote during this period, when another major world religion that stays to this day was also thriving (developing richly) in India. God saw Moses' true reasons for killing suddenly the Egyptian. Pharaoh, the Law Lord of Egypt and Chief Justice, didnt. Pharoah, in a move distorted by many films including the cartoon the Prince of Egypt, issued an royal order (-decree) for Moses' death (it's in Exodus KJV see blueletterbible.org) God here is shown to show wondrous mercy beyond compare, in providing escape and refuge for Moses, disciplining him as a Shepherd and providing for him to be the Door and Leader-Prophet for Israels exodus to the Promised Land away from slavery in Egypt Grace and Peace in Christ Jesus Wisdom and Discretion and Discernment of the Spirit, with his Fellowship and Direction |
