HierofGod, let me ask you: Is there any Scriptural evidence for any of what you wrote in your post? Are we really taking from Scripture at this point or adding to it? You said, "Think about it we assume lots of things in the Bible." I believe that some of the things that you posted are based on wild assumptions that have no Scriptural basis, whatsoever. Did someone teach you some of these assumptions? Are they based on a work by an author? Just asking. Please take into consideration every single idea and check Scripture to see if it is sound. If it is found not to be 'correct' on the basis of Scripture, then it must be refuted. Also, the Bible gives us a 'very limited' basis as far as 'reading between the lines'.. So if we get too far off, then we are no longer studying the Bible, but speculating on things that are entirely foreign to the Bible. Love in Christ, Nolan |

I understand. If you look at my first posting, I said that I would give an answer that Benny Hinn gave to Paul and Jan Crouch. I didn't say I was taught any of this. I did look at the scriptures and cross referenced them in my Bible. From what I read it was a credible statement. Then I said in the posting you are responding to that we assume lots of things in the bible especially in the old testament. My example was, who Cain married. I have never seen in the old testament or the new (yet) where it said he married one of his sisters. I know that it was permitted back then because of the time. Now as far as scriptural evidence I introduced this for all of us who cared to study it, especially if it was true. I gave the scriptures Benny Hinn gave and the ones I read from my notes in my Bible. Things I know I know, I have seen for myself, and God has shown me, you can't bring me down on even if it's only one scripture of evidence. Things I don't know like this, I am willing to learn about, I am not going to teach this to other people until I know for myself. Nobody in this walk knows everything. One thing that I have been wanting to know since I converted was where did dinasaurs come from because I have not seen it in scripture-the explaination that Benny Hinn gave includes an answer that could be used if it is true. That's all I want to know! | ||||||
