	hi, mkm9 Thanks for the clarification never heard the term "cowgirl" used that way before. Let me try to explain church plant alittle more indepth. when I use the term split I am refering to the viloent seperation of a local body over some frivilous arguement. Of course there are other churches involved in a support role. If you would like specific information about this particular work check out our web site www.hopeshere.com As far as to what do I teach maybe disciple would be a better word you see rather than pull members oput of other churches our membership comes from our core group sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and seeing people come to know him as their personal Lord and Savior. Then I help them to grow in the faith til they can go out and reproduce themselves. You see my personal passion is to share the Good News of Christ with everyone He gives me the opportunity to. As far as your comment about following in Him and not denominations I whole hearedly agree although I do work within the Southern Baptist Convention I do not pledge my support to the SBC but I pledge my whole life to Christ. 	good evening, mkm9 What is a church plant? That is when you start a new church from the ground up. When doing this it is really interesting because you have no building or facilities to work with. My job in the church is the director of outreach ministies. I try to teach people how to share their faith and then convince thwm to go out and do it. And you are right what is"cowgirls"? By the way for a new church to be considered a plant it must be a new work not a result from a split.
