	Tocurious;There is a lot of misunderstanding on marrage and divorce, and can I say a lot of hard feelings.Most people who dont know what it means to be hungry always turn their head the other way and have no understanding of the cause or reprocusions. For give the spelling, Im just and old country boy. Math.5:31-32, romans 7;1-6, this is law not grace., Rom 8;7, The carnal mind is not subject to the law of God and neither can be.The subject of divorce is clear in scripture, surcomstances which are between you and God are 1. were you an unbeliever and 2. was there adultry?I judge not for as the scripture says, seek out your own salvation with fear and trembling.People are too quick to judge by what they think they know, I didnt know what a sinner was untill I became one and was convicted in my heart, crude example but there it is.If you and God are settled with each other its fine with me.A man told me once, a long time ago,A man must be the Husband of one wife to be a decon, I said ok, so a nother man of the same church was not allowed to be a decon because his wife was married before.So what happened to the 1wife law.?This man had never been married before and was punished by wrong interpretation.So be careful of of wrong interpretation and be honest to God.Hey George, I read and some of this is in responce.

	Hi, Chusarcik, In verse 20 peter was speeking of the disobedience of some saints which disobeyed God at different times, such as noah and moses and some of the prophets,remember what Jesus said, no man goes to the Father except throu the Son.... The old testiment saints had to go the same way we go and thats throu Jesus. God will not give a double standard, its throu Jesus or nothing. The reference to noah was an example of Gods patience with man.look at Gen 11;31 for saints disobedience of Teran and abram. I hope this helps.

Saints had to go throu the same door as we do, and thats why Jesus had to fulfill prophecy and go to the center of the earth to preach the gospell to the captives and set them free.

There are adultrious acts spiritual and fisical.Mark 12;17.Jesus fullfilled the law and never done away with it.Look closely at Mark cpt 10;9 and ask yourself what does it mean to me, not what someone else has told you, I teach Bible this way,Also Math.19-9.A lot of times when we were out in sin as an unbeliever we all made mistakes,we pay for them,God forgives us and then man reminds us all the days of our lives, where is the justice in that.As far as being fair game, Im not afraid. There are a lot of Christians that believe that all spiritual gifts stopped at 70 A.D.In 1999 I was pronounced dead of a massive heart attack, 27 minutes later after my wife laid hands on me I was alive again, so I continue to preach and teach without fear of man and his forms of religion.What God did for the early church He does for us today. We are the representives of Jesus Christ, we are called after his name,if we are Christians, and the word christian means Christ Like and we cant preform the things that Jesus and Paul said we could do then dont you think that the meaning of the word christian should be changed to a faxcimially or pale copy. As far as this question, look at Phil 3:10- 14 -21."That I may know Him, and the Power of His resurection and the fellowship of His suffering... This is one of my favorte verses, It brings to us so much power and understanding of what was and what is to come.I press toward the mark for the prize of the High calling of God in Christ Jesus. This is to me the standard for christians to attain.Its the Joy of the Lord is my strengyh. To best experience the Kingdom of God now is to be in God with all Joy and suplication, loveing one another with a Godly Love, and as Paul said REJOICE. DL5.

	Look at John 3;16.....That whomsoever..should not perish. This verse ties in with the scriptures that you mentioned. In my opinion the will of the Father is to ,Believe in the Son.We should not perish is stateing that there is no reason to be lost if we hold on to the words of Jesus. But not every one does, they say lord, Lord but do the opisite with their hearts. If you continue to read the Bible tells us to compare scripture with scripture, James is compairing old testiment with the new covenent. Faith without works is dead being alone. Hes telling us that eventhou were saved, we still hafe to show it by works also.

	some may say different things about this scripture but for me there are only two things, 1. a prediction of his transfiguration ,Mk.9;1,Lk,9;27,2Pet.1;16., 2.a prediction of future events when Christ appears to rapture the church. In acts 6;15 it talks about Stephen seeing Jesus beside God in His Kingdom. This is what I look at as far as this scripture is concerned, Stephen, and John being shown Christ glory before they died. i hope this helps.

In luke we learn that the rich man lifted up his eyes our of torment. The Bible here tells us that the people in Hell or Sheol, have total memory and all their sences. The ones who have died in christ are according to scripture are in a sleep state, untill the resurection.I hope this helps you.

	Luke 18;28-30, The Bible tells us that if an unbeliever and a believer live together and the believer is not hindered in serving God that they are to stay together. The difference in translations is apparent I think there is just amissunderstanding with the translator. i read the KJV, people say its harder to understand but to me its easer because it doesnt candy coat a lot that the other translations do. We are to stay together and divorce only for the cause of fornication. I hope this helps.

	Seeking4truth, Christians have a tendency to ignore questions that are contriversial. Jesus was one who loved contriversy. He always answered the tough ones. But you also hafe to remember that sometimes Jesus answered a question with a question. The question of God telling us to love our enemies and then later telling us that He would destroy His enemies is just a matter of context and timeing. When His enemies refuse to heed the call to repentance, their time runs out.Case and point, armageddon. Some of the enemies of God are unrightiouness and sin, some are spiritual and some are fisical.Choose one or the other and you could get a debate from others what it means.Ive counceled a number of people as yourself, who are looking for answers, who are unsure of what to believe. Remember that christians are people, who are fallable, we all make mistakes. The Bible states that the scripture is, spiritually decerned, which means, that the Holy Ghost is the one who leads us into the truth of the word, so we hafe to be open to Him for guidence. Once you start to open yourself to the spirit ,then you will recieve your answers, directly from God.Get deeper into prayer and fasting and then watch the doors of heavan open up to you and your answers will come. And you will see that there are no contridictions in the Bible only answers that we havent asked the right questions to yet.DL5
