	"Her seed" is in the Bible though less frequently than "his seed". The source you are looking for sounds more like Aristotle then the Bible. The apocryphal/deuterocanonical passage from Wisdom of Solomon could also be what you are looking for. Wisdom of Solomon 7:1-2 RSV 1 I also am mortal, like all men, a descendant of the first-formed child of earth; and in the womb of a mother I was molded into flesh, 2 within the period of ten months, compacted with blood, from the seed of a man and the pleasure of marriage. There is a form of a related word 'golem' that only occurs in Psalm 139:16 which means 'embryo' or 'unformed substance'. You can search at www.jewishencyclopedia.com for a discussion on 'golem'.

	Christians celebrate the day of Pentecost 7 weeks after Easter. 7 weeks is 49 days plus 1 day is 50 thus the name Pentecost. There was already a Jewish holiday of Pentecost that is 7 weeks after Passover. This was a time of Harvests. Barley would be harvested during Passover and Wheat during Pentecost. Jewish tradition is that the Law was given on their Pentecost.

	Your capitalization of YOUNG seems to imply you are concerned about noninclusivity through ageism rather than asking about MAN which would imply a concern about sexism. The Psalm is written as an acrostic. Acrostics might just have one verse that start with each letter of the alphabet where this poem has stanzas of eight verses beginning with each subsequent letter. Acrostics were meant as a memorization aid. Memorization of something this large might be encouraged for the young. What one memorizes when young will serve them their whole life through old age.

	Qohelet alludes in Chapter 2 to the creations of Solomon. In the first chapter is the poem on toil with its observations of God's creation. For the wise observer who does not sleep well and can not stop his observing while he is awake there is no Sabbath except disability and death. Since the result of ones work seems pointless because it has to be left to someone who may be unworthy and unappreciative then Qohelet surmises that enjoyment of your work itself and enjoying what you can of the fruits of your labor should be done while you can.

Only Easter and Pentacost's timing really are based on the New Testment and Easter has been given an unfortunate name. Christmas and All Saints Day were placed where they were by the Catholic church to trump pagan holidays. So whatever you do be "glorifying and praising God" like the shepherds in Luke 2:20.

	There are no textual variants for Galatians 2:7 to 2:11 listed in UBS 3ed but Metzgers corresponding textual commentary shows variants on all the references in Galatians to the Aramaic 'Cephas' being switched to the Greek 'Peter' in the manuscripts the Textus Receptus follows. I would like to say that 2:9 is a listing of the leaders of the Jerusalem church as it would be commonly recited with James (the brother of Jesus) before Cephas/Peter as in Acts 15:15-20 but I don't have proof for that assertion. The use of 'Peter' in a writing by Paul is actually unusual though it is common in Acts. Galatians doesn't give a listing at the end of who was with Paul so we don't know if Luke was around. Only in Galatians 2:7,8 does Paul appear to actually use 'Peter'. In 1 Cor 1:12, 1 Cor 3:22, 1 Cor 9:5, 1 Cor 15:5, Gal 1:18, Gal 2:9, Gal 2:11 and Gal 2:14 say 'Cephas'. The reason may be for the way it sounds. Peter (Petros/Petrw) versus circumcision (peritomhs). James and Cephas and John (IakwBos kai Khfas kai Iwannhs).
