1 | Ecumenical Movement Avoid or Not? | Bible general | tyaki | 239742
So you don't know what the Ecumenical Movement is, or the danger that it poses, but you can judge the contents of my postings? It doesn't take much time to do a search on Ecumenicism, but I can tell you, it goes against everything the Reformation stands for...the gospel and of Jesus Christ and Christain doctrine. Romans 16.16-18...17 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the DOCTRINE that you have been taught...avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. 1 Timothy 6.2b-5...Teach and urge these things. If anyone teaches a different DOCTRINE and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. We all need to be Bereans...you must research things to make sure your are not being lead astray...do you agree with what my first posting warned against as far as the blatant false teachings? If not, then you are a Roman Catholic and it all makes sense. If so, then you truly need to do a better job of matching any churches teachings against the Word of God. I seems to me that if Jesus were to post something like what we find in Matthew 23, then he, too, would be reprimanded...that should give you pause for thaught. |

Galatians 1:9-11.. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel. In Matthew 23 Jesus calls the religious Pharisees quite a few names...I won't put them in here for fear of being excommunicated for breaking your rules...so I am in good company for telling the truth about a certain mega.church that's located in Italy. Who would have thought that proclaiming the truth would be met with such hatred on a so.called Christian site? If anything I stated in my previous post was false then I should be reprimanded, but then I would have to ask you, What was the Reformation all about if it wasn't against the false teachings of said church? If I can't provide facts on this site then I shake the dust from my feet in testimony against you. |

I am a former victim of the apostate Roman Catholic religious system. What part of... 1. praying to Mary whom the R.C.C. teaches that grace comes through Mary, she tells Jesus who deserves it, and saints. 2. transubstantiation. 3. works-based salvation. 4. purgatory. 5.calling the pope Holy Father. 6. priests and nuns; 7. Peter as the rock of the church. 8.Mary is the Queen of Heaven and the Mother of God, don't you folks understand?? The R.C.C. is a heretical, apostate church the teaches a false Jesus...why do we Christians treat it as anything other than what it is...the harlot church? If you saw that video with the pope and Kenneth Copeland, who spoke in tongues...it was total gibberish, how could you possibly come away from that without concern? Those of you who think it's o.k. to yoke with this church...PLEASE read the Book of Jude.
4 | Do 1Cor.8:7;15:34 contradict Romans 1:18 | Rom 1:18 | tyaki | 239699
Jalek, thank you kindly for revealing God's truth. I struggled with these 3 verses for the past few days and just couldn't come up with an answer. This will help with my witnessing capabilities. Blessings, brother.
5 | Do 1Cor.8:7;15:34 contradict Romans 1:18 | Rom 1:18 | tyaki | 239698
Thanks Doc. I am a relatively new Christian and am still learning (will always be learning, who am I kidding), but I was unable to come up with the answer on my own. I do "know" that God would never contradict Himself, but I am fallible and though I love to do street witnessing, I don't always feel qualified. Blessings.

Do 1 Corinthians 8:7;15:34 contradict what Romans 1:18-20 say about all men having knowledge of God, thus are without excuse?
