1 | Why did God create man? | Rev 4:11 | truth-in-love@westnet.com.au | 166772
Man was created in the image of God, but in him this image has been sadly disfigured. The traces of God's love in the human soul have been nearly obliterated. Men have chosen darkness rather than light. Obedience to God's commands wins eternal life. Disobedience places man on Satan's side of the question.
2 | Why did God create man? | Rev 4:11 | truth-in-love@westnet.com.au | 166771
Man was created to glorify his Maker. But iniquity has so increased that at the present time men and women do not appreciate the goodness of God. They do not believe His Word. Self is the god they worship.
3 | Why did God create man? | Rev 4:11 | truth-in-love@westnet.com.au | 166770
In the beginning, man was created in the image of God. He was in perfect harmony with the nature and the law of God; the principles of righteousness were written upon his heart. But sin alienated him from his Maker. He no longer reflected the divine image. His heart was at war with the principles of God's law. . . . But "God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son," that man might be reconciled to God. Through the merits of Christ he can be restored to harmony with his Maker. His heart must be renewed by divine grace; he must have a new life from above. This change is the new birth.

she wept and nagged for seven days like a spoiled little girl, accused him of hating her, and then finally she lay sore upon him (read what you will into that). verses 16-17. if that is not a manipulative woman, i don't know what is. as for romans 16, certainly most of the verses are in grateful greetings, but there is also some very needful instruction for us in verses 16-20; 25-27. |

i think the amplified has answered the question asked. it is the dead in sin refered to in the first instance and those who have fallen asleep till Christ returns to judge the wicked, (died physically that is) in the second instance. hope this is the question being asked. see (Rev 20)
