1 | Was time turned back 40 minutes? | Is 38:8 | telliconnie | 90450
Thank you Ed. We did come to the conclusion that just that fact that God showed he was capable of doing that (in order to prove that he would also be capable of allowing Hezekiah to live 15 years longer)was the true point of turning back time, but at the same time felt there must be some true science behind the 10 steps, or 10 degrees. This is just a case of curious minds want to know. :) I had not considered things like latitude, longitude, etc. but I am sure you are correct about that. Thanks for taking time to respond to my question! Connie |

In Bible Study this evening, we were reading Isaiah 38:8. Can anyone explain how long time was turned back in this verse? I quickly figured out that a sundial represents one day. Since a sundial is circular, I determined that it must be 360 degrees, which would mean 10 degrees represents 40 minutes. Is my logic flawed? Anyone have any thoughts on this?
