3 | Are we supposed to eat meat? | Genesis | speck | 140259
Geneis 1:30 was a Pre-flood verse. At that time every living thing was vegitarian. It appears that all creation was vegetarian until after the waters of the Great Flood receded and Noah and his family were left to replenish the earth. Genesis 9:1-3 says: "Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all of the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, now I give you everything." (1 Tim 4:1-4 KJV) "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:" |

4 | why was Jacob Loved and Esau Hated | Rom 9:1 | speck | 140255
So that election might stand. Romans 9:11-16 11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. |

5 | Diff filling vs receiveing the Spirit? | 1 Cor 13:8 | speck | 140249
Receiving the Holy Spirit is the beginning of the Holy Spirit acting in our lives. Being filled with the Holy Spirit means being lead by the spirit. Romans Chapter 8:6-17 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. This is the process from receiving to dwelling in the Holy Spirit. It doesn't happen all at once but happens over time. |

6 | Where's Gift ... following with Tongues | NT general Archive 1 | speck | 140248
This is the Holy Spirit where the people heard the apostles in their own language. Tongues means languages and it must be understood by all present or be interpreted so all can understand. Tongues are a fruit of the spirit and it is used to edify the word of God. People who speak in "jiberish" non-understandable language by anyone is not edifying the word of God. Acts chapt 2:6-12 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? This was the feast of Penticost held 50 days after the crusifiction of Jesus Christ our passover lamb. The same feast of Penticost was held in Exodus chapter 19 and 20. Is the giving of the law at MT Sinai 50 days after the passover lamb was slain in Egypt. Now in Act 2:37-38 the law is planted in the heart. Prophesied by Jerimiah in Jerimiah Chapter 31:31-33. Hebrews Chapter 8:8-10, Hebrew Chapter 10:15,16. Will be completed when Jesus Christ sets up his kingdom here on Earth. Matthew 10:6. The Lords Prayer. |
