1 | Biblical Definition And Examples-Visions | Not Specified | sincerebeliever | 133840
What is the biblical standard for "visions". Does anyone have a complete definition that is biblically based. In other words, not just one example but what the WHOLE Bible says on this issue? I know it gets down to that God speaks to each of us individually in a way that is unique and personal but does the Bible say that a vision must be like-------- in order to be a "true vision".

3 | License To Marry? | Rom 13:1 | sincerebeliever | 130652
Yes of course I have a Drivers License. That is required to drive. And yes I have professional licenses. Yes, I have a covenant marriage with a man who I am equally yoked with. We did not get a license because we believe it is a matter of God and NOT the state. I do not take my vows to my husband lightly. I am deeply committed to my husband and we are both solid Christians
4 | License To Marry? | Rom 13:1 | sincerebeliever | 130648
If God so joins a man and his wife together in a spiritual covenant relationship what "law" would say that they need a license. If it is not stated in the Bible then because of the seperation between the laws of God and the laws of the state why should be get a license? Some things are purely spiritual. There is no reason to ask the state's permission to marry. It is really none of their business the matters of God. Not in rebellion but if it is not in the Bible then why would we. I need to ask then--where does it say that a man and his wife "have to marry" according to the laws of the state? I don't think that there is even a law. If it was simple--like the state says that you "have" to marry then that would be something we should do in obedience to the laws of the land. But the state DOES NOT SAY THAT. I did numerous topical studies and NO WHERE DOES IT SAY IN THE BIBLE THAT THERE NEEDS TO BE A LICENSE TO MARRY. It just says that whoever God so joins let no man put asunder. Asunder means to not allow any person to have authority over you in the matters of God and the heart--except for God.
5 | Honoring the Sabbath | Not Specified | sincerebeliever | 130556
I have felt that God has impressing upon me over the last 20 years to honor the Sabbath. I see all the way back to God's initial creation and even in the Ten Commandments that we are to honor the Sabbath. What I want to know is WHY Christians are not honoring the Sabbath when it is written clearly we are to do so. EVEN IF we "thought" or "think" that the Sabbath is on Sunday the VAST MAJORITY of Christians are not refraining from buying or selling and are not refraining from "doing their own pleasure" on that day. I have gone personally in and out of personal "revelation" on this issue and have honestly honored the Sabbath for about half of the last 20 years in long sequences of years. Isn't this part of our obedience to the word to honor the Sabbath? SUNday is actually the day to "worship the sun". Whether or not we all join a church that honors the Sabbath it seems like we should as Christians be honoring it on Saturday. Any comments.

7 | License To Marry? | Not Specified | sincerebeliever | 130555
Where does it say in the Bible that we need to obtain a "marriage license". I understand the SERIOUSNESS of marriage but I feel we as Christians have fallen into partaking in "the world" by getting actual "licenses". I know that in Ruth 4:1-11 and in Isaiah 8:13 that it talks about a ceremony attested to by witnesses however in all of my bible study I have never seen the word "license."
