1 | Who are the twenty four elders? | Rev 19:4 | sid | 158810
24 Elders equaled 24 writers of OT. "They cast their crowns before the throne" means the OT reign ended at the resurrection; Rev 5 and Rev 7. "heaven and earth, and down under the earth"; at the resurrection: Government of Isr. (H.); Body of Isr. (E.); Gentiles saved (Under Earth"; Rev 5.3. From my "exhaustive commentary on Revelation." "The book with 7 seals" are NT; Rev 6.1 to 11.15. sid |

2 | "Flies" should read "given" | Eccl 10:1 | sid | 158802
To: Mark: You are very free with your criticism. But I am not offended. Tell me as a potential friend, "How many complete books of the Bible have you translated?" I have completed Assembly (Ecclesiastes), and Joel, and Romans, and First John; and most of Matthew; besides editing Daniel, Zechariah, and Revelation in my commentaries. If you have never translated a big book; give it a try! You will be shocked at the knowledge and wisdom required for this task. First of all, years of study must precede such an adventure. But then, teachers are all fallible men of earth; and so, you must "wrestle with God" in prayer, to find many answers. In love, Sid |

To: BradK: EN H PNEW: B. W. Johnson, 1891, and Alexander Campbell, "The Living Oracles" (NT), 1826; and The Millennial Harbinger, Christian monthly magazine; 1830-70; were all: EN H PNEW. They changed "the wind blows" to "the Spirit breathes" (Jn 3.8). This was because of their belief in Majority Rule. This also applies to Acts 2.2; "a violent breath." Added to that is Acts 27.40; "raising the sail to the breath" (of Euros - vs 14). So then, consistency is dedication to the Lord God Almighty. Campbell changed, "baptize" to "immerse" (but "dip" is better); and from 12 members, in 1812, they became the 6th largest denomination in the United States in 1895. See: Gaustad's "History of Religion in America"; Vol 2, p. 92. Johnson corrected many errors in the translation in his Bible commentary. The Interlinear Bibles have corrected "forever" to read "into the ages." See: Heb 13.8. This is the result of Majority Rule. I suppose that all Bible translations embrace this principle to some extent; some more than others. So now, you are: EN H PNEW. sid |

4 | "Flies" should read "given" | Eccl 10:1 | sid | 158786
To: Tim: Thank you for sharing your experience with "flies" and their "eggs." But the Bible did not mention eggs. I have swatted and killed many flies, but never experienced a "smell" from flies. At other times, when flies were plentiful; my wife had sprayed and killed several. But we never experienced a "smell" from flies. "Obviously, this is why words gain definitions with the passing of time - especially in English." "The heaven and the earth will pass away but the words of Me not, not will pass away" - Mt 24.35. sid |

To: BradK: "How did you come to your conclusion?" I have developed a "Majority Rule Method" for translating the Bible. The KJV translators loved to invent new words. They translated many Hebrew words with over 25 definitions. See: "dabar" - Heb. You and I would be unable to communicate like that. Every time you used a 25 definition word I would have to stop you and ask, "Which definition are you using?" In the same manner, every time I used a 25 definition word, you would have to stop me. Consider these examples: 1) madness - 8 Xs; in Ecclesiastes only (HLLWH; final "H" means "of her" - Strong's #1947; praise - (LLH) - 110 Xs; Strong's #1984. We ignore the removable "Waw" (W). 2) "years" - Eccl 12.1 - 2 Xs; Strong's #8147; "two" - 506 Xs. Note: refers to "two tablets of the law." 3) "youth" - Eccl 12.1 - 2 Xs; Strong's #979; "choosing of you" - 127 Xs. And so, I believe in Majority Rule; with a few exceptions. Thank you for your comment. sid |

Isaiah 11.1-4: 1) Wisdom and Understandng; 2)Counsel; 3) Might; 4) Knowledge; 5) Fear of "He Is" (HWHY); 6) Judg(ment); 7) Righteousness. The Lord Jesus is identified as the One to be anointed with these 7 Spirits of God. This is why He was called "Anointed" (Christ). sid |

8 | "Flies" should read "given" | Eccl 10:1 | sid | 158769
To: WOS; 1) My comment about Matthew Henry and Andrew Fausset only applied to Verse 3.2. 2) "Death given pours out a stinking smell [into] oil [being] drawn out [to] perfumer; more than precious wisdom [smells from] a little folly" - Eccl 10.1. Ointment - 14 Xs; oil - 165 Xs. apothecary - 5 Xs; perfume - #s 7543 to #7548 are all one word, which we think should be perfume(s). stink - 8 Xs; smell - 42 Xs. reputation (honor) - 1 X Only; precious - 25 Xs. Now then, Why did the KJV translators always invent these one-time-only definitions when the Bible had a different definition recorded frequently? And -- Why do the present Bible translations continue to use these one-time-only words? What we have here is an analogy between "death given" (through prophecy; see: Deut 28), and precious wisdom smelling from a little folly. Besides that, you should know that flies do not smell. In love, sid 1. "2070 - BWBZ - flies - 1 X Only. Almost all one-time-only words are errors. DBZ - #2065 to #2071; the definition in James Strong's prelimenary notes to the words translated in the KJV are "gift" and "given" - 29 times. |

Note: Emmaus: Thank you for your reply. "The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong ... but time and chance happen to them all" - Eccl 9.11. Let me share with you an anecdote: Mary Slaney was in a women's 16K race in Canada against a Swede who had just set the world record for that event. The race was televised worldwide. Slaney came out fast, and took an early lead. She was challenged by several others for the point of the race, but she held them all off. Mary continued to lead until near the end of the race. The last mile was four laps in a stadium track. The earnest contenders made a valiant effort to catch her. With 110 yards to go, they were all winded, and began to lag behind. At that time, I said to myself, "The race is over." Then a stocky old man pushed between two spectators on the infield of the track, stuck his head and chest onto the track. Mary Slaney was down and out. I do not recall who won the race; but it certainly was not the swift. This demonstrated the control of God in the affairs of men, and women. Wisdom and Understanding, and Knowledge, operate by the same method: "You have to be in the right place at the right time." The Lord God Almighty has blessed me tremendously, for I was raised up in the faith during the Millennium (AD 1859 - 1959). They called themselves "The Restoration Movement"; and Disciples of Christ, and Christian Churches, and Churches of Christ. I am a historian of Bible Commentaries from the Protestant Reformation Movement, and from the Millennium, and from "Satan loosed a Little" (Rev 20.3 - AD 1959- 2004; continuing to AD 2015. In 1943, a man of God taught a summary of Jesus' Revelation in one hour. I was 10 years old. Papal Dark Ages. Papal Inquisitions. Babylon fell AD 1870 (this is in all encyclopedias under "Italy"). "Satan will be loosed in the future" (Rev 20.7-8). "To be forewarned is to be forearmed." I witnessed the "Murder of the Millennium." I met "Gog" face-to-face. I am, "A Living Link to the Millennium." The churches today are unaware of our teaching during the Millennium. "The Censorship"; or, "The Filthy Five" has banned our teaching. For "Filthy Five" see: Rev 20.7-10. I have never read a man who believed in "The 7 Spirits of God." And, I have done a lot of reading. But Jesus had taught me what they are, and how to receive them, and how to keep them (for some lose this priceless treasure; see: Heb 6.1-9). The history of the kingdom of God on earth, is being suppressed by The Censorship. Jesus also informed me of "The Miracle of 1992." For over 1900 years Bible expositors and churches have been bold to deny that "God can count to three." But now, "The Elect" can count to three. Sent in love, sid |

To: Makanos: I am primarily a Bible expositor. All of the conservative Protestant expositors had to begin by editing the translation; because they are all so bad. They are all so bad because they have retained thousands of KJV errors. They have four names of God wrong because the KJV had them wrong. However, the Internet is full of websites with the proper translations of these names. James Strong identified "Elohim" to be "plural gods"; both pagan gods, and Father and Son. Matthew Henry and Robert Jamieson agreed. The webmasters of these sites also agree; but they think that we should stick with status quo. William D. Mounce's lexicon identified "Christos" to be "Anointed." The Interlinear Bibles all read "Iesous" instead of "Jesus." The British invented the letter "J" in about AD 1725. HWH is "to be." The prefix "Y" reads "he." HYHA is "I Am." God taught this to Moses. HWHY is "He Is." Moses taught this to Israel. Jesus came teaching "I Am." Peter confessed, "You are Anointed, Son of God." Hebrews reads, "Who being radiance of the glory ... of essence of Him" - Heb 1.3; and other similar verses. The Jews did not believe in "The Son of God" - Psalm 2.7. They changed the names of God (plural Gods, He Is) in the Septuagint. The "traditions of men" is the great stumbling block. I have translated, and interpreted, all of Ecclesiastes. "Death given" (10.1) is about the death of Israel being prophesied in Verse 3.2. Matthew Henry and Andrew Fausset agree with this interpretation of Verse 3.2. Please believe me, that I do not speak foolishly or recklessly. Respectfully submitted. sid |

11 | "Flies" should read "given" | Eccl 10:1 | sid | 158714
To: Makanos: My comments were not without considerable research and prayer. Look at the translators of the KJV statement of disrespect for the word of God: 1) THE TRANSLATORS TO THE READER.. "Another things we think good to admonish you of (gentle Reader) that we have not tied ourselves to an uniformity of phrasing, or to an identity of words, as some peradventure would wish that we had done, because they observe, that some learned men somewhere, have been as exact as they could that way. Truly, that we might not vary from the sense of that which we had translated before, if the word signified that same in both places (for there be some words that be not the same sense everywhere) we were especially careful, and made a conscience, according to our duty. But, that we should express the same notion in the same particular word; as for example, if we translate the Hebrew or Greek word once by PURPOSE, never to call it INTENT; if one where JOURNEYING, never TRAVELLING; if one where THINK, never SUPPOSE; if one where PAIN, never ACHE; if one where JOY, never GLADNESS, etc. Thus to mince the matter, we thought to savour more of curiosity than wisdom, and that rather it would breed scorn in the Atheist, than bring profit to the godly Reader. For is the kingdom of God to become words or syllables? Why should we be in bondage to them if we may be free, use one precisely when we may use another no less fit, as commodiously?" NOTE: Copied from "The Holy Bible, 1611 Edition, King James Version"; published by Thomas Nelson Publishers, Nashville, Tennessee; printed in the United States of America, 1993. The translators made every effort to make their non-conformity to the word of God seem "innocent" and "harmless." But then, God had a different opinion. (1) MOSES CURSE ON CHANGING WORDS OF HIS LAW FROM GOD. "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of 'He Is' (Yahweh) your Gods (Elohim) which I command you" - Deut 4.2. (2) SOLOMON WARNED AGAINST ADDING TO THE WORD. "Every word of Gods (Elohim) [is] pure; He [is] a Shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar" - Prov 30.5-6. (3) JESUS PRONOUNCED A CURSE FOR ADDING TO THE BIBLE. "For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the Book of Life, from the Holy City (New Jerusalem - 21.1-3), and the things which are written in this book" - Rev 22.18-19. The translators selected examples which do not seem too grievous. But let us consider other examples of their work. A) DABAR. Strong's #s 1696, 1697, 1698, 1699; translated in KJV to mean: answer, appoint, bid, command, commune, declare, destroy, give, name, promise, rehearse, say, speak, be spokesman, subdue, talk, teach, tell, think, use [entreaties], utter (1696); act, advice, affair, answer (1697); murrain, pestilence, plague (1698); fold, manner (1699); word (1699 repeated). So then, we have 31 proclaimed synonyms for one Hebrew word: RBD. B) HEAVENS. Strong's #8064 (always plural) - heavens - 333 times; air (singular) - 19 times. C) SAYING. Strong's #1697 - saying - 975 times; matter - 61 times. D) SEE. Strong's #7200 - 879 times; - regards - 4 times. E) SEND, SENT. Strong's #7971 - send/sent - 645 times; put - 44 times; cast - 14 times. No one can comprehend the King James translator's Hebrew with 31 definitions for one word. Plural "Heavens"; defined by lexicographers to be of a dual nature; cannot be singular "air." A "matter" may be a "saying" sometimes; but we have a host of "matters" that are not "sayings: and so, the message is lost. respectfully submitted, sid |

12 | "preacher" should be "assembly" | Eccl 1:1 | sid | 158673
This is the only mention of "preacher" in the entire OT. TLHQ Strong's #6953, is feminine (T) "assembly." LHQ Strong's #s 6950, 6951, 6952 are recorded "assemble" (29), congregation (84), gather (25). This is my Majority Rule method of translation. Almost all one-time-only words are errors. sid |

13 | "Flies" should read "given" | Eccl 10:1 | sid | 158672
The word "flies" is found here only (Strong's #2070). Strong's #s 2065 thru 2072 are translated "gift" or "given" 29 times. This is my Majority Rule method of translating the Bible. sid |
||||||
14 | Vanity should read "the mourning." | Eccl 1:2 | sid | 158671
NOTE: "vanity" is LBH; Hebrew reads right to left. "H" is the prefix "the"; which suppressed the first letter "A" (LBA). Abel was translated "mourning" 66 times. "The Abel" is rendered "the mourning." Abel was recorded to be a man of faith (Heb 11.4), and so, he could not be "vanity." sid |

15 | Can you explain Ecclesiastes 11:1,2? | Ecclesiastes | sid | 158670
Eccl 11.1-2: "Send your bread (Jesus is Bread of Life)upon the Waters (Gentiles), for you will find it in many days." ANSWER: "... because the Abundance of the Sea (Gentiles) shall be turned to you; the Wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you (Israel)" - Isa 60.5. See: Acts 28.13-15; Gentiles came to Paul to hear him. sid |

16 | What is Ecclesiastes in general? | Ecclesiastes | sid | 158669
Matthew Henry and Andrew Fausset and I believe; "a time to be born, a time to die"; refers to the birth and death of Israel. See: 3.2. This agrees with other prophecies of Israel's death. See: Isa 65.17, Joel 2.31; Mt 24.29. The resurrection (3.21) and New Jerusalem (12.6) are also alluded to. sid |

NOTE: The title "Ecclesiastes" is spelled backwards. "Ths" Ekklhsias" is in the New Testament 28 times; "of the Called-out." This "Called-out" began with Jesus. Should harmonize with Kohelet, "Assembly." sid |
