In 1 Corinthians Paul says that we are many part with one body. Basically, He says that not everyone has the same gift. "All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they?" 1 Corinthians 12:30 NASB Its not necessary to speak in tongues to go to Heaven. Speaking in tongues is to edify and mature the spirit when used in prayer.
