1 | Pleas explain Gen. 1:15, the bruising! | Gen 3:13 | prayer warrior | 186553
Gen 3:13-15 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:And I will put enmity(hatred) between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head (her children who will be given authority over satan), and thou shalt bruise his heel( I think this has to do with the devil trying to destroy our walk int he Lord temping us Gods children to sin).
2 | When did Joseph husband of Mary die | Luke 2:33 | prayer warrior | 186551
Last mention i find of Joseph was when Jesus was 12 and at the temple, they Mary and Joseph came back to look for him in Luke 2:47-50 Joseph Was Not Around For Jesus’ Public Ministry Joseph is not mentioned as being around when Jesus began His public ministry. He is conspicuous by His absence. Almost everyone agrees that he had died before the time Jesus revealed Himself to the world. We know nothing of the circumstances surrounding his death. Is His Death Indicated? There may be an indication in Scripture that Joseph would never live to see Jesus’ public ministry. When the elderly man Simeon spoke to Joseph and Mary about their newborn son we find the following said. The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him. Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too” (Luke 2:33-35). He predicted that a sword would pierce Mary’s soul concerning Jesus but Simeon said nothing about Joseph. This may be an indication that Joseph would not be around to see Jesus rejected and crucified by the people whom He came to save. this is all that i can find regarding Joseph. |

5 | "He shall be called a Nazarene."? | Matt 2:23 | prayer warrior | 145320
a. The phrase He shall be called a Nazarene is not a Biblically recorded prophecy, but probably just a well known rabbinic prophecy or interpretation b. Since to be a Nazarene was a special mark of holiness, it seemed natural that the Messiah would be a Nazarene; but Matthew shows how this was true in a different way - He was from the city of Nazareth, though not a Nazarene through a vow c. Remember that Nazareth was a city that did not have a particularly good reputation (John 1:46); yet the Father did not feel it necessary to have Jesus come from a "good" city www.blueletterbible.org refrence |

7 | meaning of isaiah 50:7 | Bible general Archive 2 | prayer warrior | 145317
In Isa 50:7 and Eze 3:9 the expressions, where the word flint is used, means that the "Messiah would be firm and resolute amidst all contempt and scorn which he would meet; that he had made up his mind to endure it, and would not shrink from any kind or degree of suffering which would be necessary to accomplish the great work in which he was engaged." ( Eze 3:8, 9.) The words "like a flint" are used with reference to the hoofs of horses ( Isa 5:28). |

It doesn't. The only thing that God has to say about a marriage He doesn't agree to is a believer and unbeliver marrying. Ezra 9:1 Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, [doing] according to their abominations,. These people worshiped false Gods, they were not believers, and we are commanded not to be unequally yoked. Mal 2:11 Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god. Just in case someone says anything about (Same sexes thing, that don't quailify as marriage,it is an abomination). Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: v27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; |

11 | Why call Christ Jesus vs. Emmanuel? | Luke 2:21 | prayer warrior | 52591
Isaih 7:14 "Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call him Immanuel" This name is an affirmation of the highest of blessings, "God with us". From with out. When ever God called a person or group to do something seemingly impossiable challange, he reminded them of his all-sufficient promise, "Certainly I will be with thee." Examples Exodus 3:12, Joshua 1:5, Haggi 1:13.In santifactcation, Christ is present dwelling with in John 14:23 "Internally", and continuously completing the work he began at conversion Phillippians 1:6. The "God with Us" relationship is effective also in securing a definite conquest with Christ. The engaged in spiritual warfare which cannot be waged, much less won, without Immanuel, the presence of God with us. we have assurance that Gods presence will be with us Joshua 1:5. we are victorious in Christ because Christ is in us working Phillippians 2:13, and we are in Christ winning Romans 8:37. A deep consolation in Christ flows from Immanuel promise. Scripture gives the promise of the presence of God as an assurance to the preplexed Genesis 28:15, an encouragement for the servant Exdous 3:12, a fortification for the timid Jeremiah 1:8, a confidence for the teacher Matt. 28:20, a rest for the pilgrim Exodus 33:14, and a strength for the fearful Hebrews 13:5,6. This is all I could find I hope that it helps clarify, the difference between the old testament and the new testament promise. Old testament God is with us, New Testament of Jesus is recieved at salvation then he dwells within us. God Bless |

Ray, Thank you for your letter. Yes I did do a typo in my response to you. I seen it after it had already been sent. Now about the Caps. I used my concordance to look for the scriptures I sent. It was in there where they were Cap... I apologize for the error. I will be much more careful in the future. Thank you for the scriptures you sent. I have enjoyed them all. It is always good to discuss the word of God. It happens to be my favorite topic. I never tire of learning more about God through his word. I would also like to let you know that my grammer is not the best. I did not do well on that subject in school. Just goes to show you, You never stop learning. LOL. I would like to ask all of you to remember me in your prayers. I always stand in need of prayer. You all know that when a person trys to get a closer relationship with Jesus, that old adversary rares his ugly head to try to discourage. I will not let him stop me. I love the Lord and desire to always be in his will. I would like to leave you with this thought. Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. God Bless you all Sandra |

Almighty, Gen 17:1, Ex. 6:3, Num. 24:4, Ruth 1:20, Job 5:17,11:7, 22:25, 29:5, 32:8, 37:23, Ps. 91:1, Is. 13:6, Ezek. 10:5, Rev. 1:8, 11:17, 15:3, 16:7, 21:22. Holy One,Is. 12:6, 57:15, Hos.11:9,Mk 1:24,Lk 4:34, Acts 3:14, 1John 2:20,Rev. 4:8, You see here are some. The names are sometimes titles given to speak of Him. We do not worship names, we worship God. King of Kings, speaks of Jesus, His majesty as King of Kings. I don't know what else to tell you, but pray for God to reveal to you to understand His Word better. |

I capitalize when I refer to His Names. To me these are in refrence to God, not things or characters of things. Therefore I capitalized, out of respect for His name. Majesty, refers to His kingship, His glory. His righteousness. They are Attributive Names. focusing upon His attributes. Like Holiness and Righteousness. Jesus was called the Holy one, Acts2:27;13:36;cf Psalm 89:18. The Righteous Judge 2 Tim 4:8. As holiness refers primarly to the character of Christ, so righteousness refers primarly to the conduct of Christ. These two titles are closely related because it is impossiable to be righteous with out being holy. These are expressions of His holiness and righteousness and sainthood. yet these are names used for Jesus. Just as Majesty refers to His glory, and power. The Almighty is one of Gods many names, it means all powerful, He is Omnipotent. And we refer to Him as Almighty. We all fall short in words to discribe Him. And as we see the bible refers to the deity of our God, the Son and Holy Ghost, we can not go wrong in using the names He has given to us for the purpose of worshiping Him. I hope this clears it up for you. |

17 | dreams with answers | Bible general Archive 1 | prayer warrior | 32408
In order to help answer your question I used some excerpt from a book"In A Dream, in a vision of the Night" copywritght 1998 It shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out my Spirit on all Flesh, Your sons and daugthers shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions. Your old men shall dream dreams, And on My menservents and My maidservants.as written in Joel. "It is very important that we search the scriptures out ourselves on any and every matter. The enemy knows the scripture. He twisted the Word of God in the Garden with Adam and Eve, as well as in the wilderness with Jesus. Dreams can be answers, warnings and or direction. Take Job 7:13-15 and Job 33:14-18 by these I take it to mean when we are in danger, the Lord loves us so much He will warn us even to the point of scaring us, and If we cannot understand, we rest. The Lord will seal the instruction of the dream. Meaning, we will understand while the Lord does the rest. Even if you talk to someone about a dream or vision that you have, don't take my word or anyone else's word as LAW. Peole are human and make mistakes. Seek the councel of others you trust in the Lord, but seek the Lord and His Word by prophesy, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, or any word from anyone. There should be confirmation from deep down in your spirit as well as from the Word of God. Remember it was your dream, not the interpreter's dream. You have the Holy Spirit in you, the teacher. Listen to Him. If you lack peace about what you are hearing, don't judge the interpreter, just the interpretation. A constant study in the Word on a daily basis will keep you fresh in the Word as well as fine tune to the Spirit of God. 2Tim 2:15, Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth." First, study the word of God and pray, This is Key to knowing the truth about a dream. Some dreams have a level of natural meaning, and a level of truth in the symbolic, spiritual meaning. We as humans we would like hard fast rules that would make it easy for us to figure out. The Lord wants us to meditate and dwell on His word. Instant answers would not encourage us to linger where He is for answers. All dreams and visions are not from God, John 10:4 tells us clearly that we know the Voice of the Lord. And another place says dreams can come from our own hearts Ecc.5:3. Dreams come from three places, ourselves, the devil, and our Lord." I can tell when the dreams are of God and when they are not, by the inward witness of the Spirit of God. I pray and ask what does it mean. And other times I know right off. It is the Presence of the Lord, that lets me know, if it is of the devil of the just flesh or a message from Him. 2 part question for you, this may help you in knowing if what you are dreaming is from the Lord or not. First have you ever felt the Presence of the Lord? If so how did you know it was Him? This helps me to know, knowing Him and how He speaks to me. Through His Word, Prayer and Dreams. I hope this helps |

I would like to know if any of you have, or know where in the word of God, that I may find scripture that helps describe God's Majesty, Psalms 93 seems to be the main verse That keeps coming to me in prayer. I know God is Majestic, and I have read scripture that describes His majesty, I just can not seem to understand and see it as it really is, rather than what I try to imagine it to be? Help if you can to direct me to more scripture. please add me to your prayers, I know the Lord is trying to get me to see something that I am not seeing. Thank you so much for your time and care.
