3 | what about a Bible study??? | Bible general Archive 2 | peter22 | 123081
Mike agree and hope that anything we do discuss that we keep from arguements or that style it should be done to edify if their is difference just let it be and move on. Only suggestion i can give about the bible study is take it verse by verse or by a topic. Keep us informed sounds like a good idea. peter22
4 | Every nation from Noah's son? | Bible general Archive 2 | peter22 | 123080
Just keep in mind Herod did not know exactly which child was the messiah but he knew who he plotted out to kill. He shows how much so he wanted to complete this task by the actions he took. The key is that the wise men said we seek his whereabouts so they could worship him this was what invoked and sturred up not only herod but "all jerusalem with him"kjv math 2v3. This is all from the beginning shows their overall unbelief as prophecies were being fullfilled before their eyes mathew 3 vs 17-18. Also read John chapter 10 my friend referred me to this in hopes of you seeing that they did know who he was he plainly states it in this chapter.. good luck thanks for the discussion.....peter22

The Bible should be the foundation for any church. It is the living word of GOD. agree with your thought there. The more you gap from the bible as your source for your church and doctrine the more the gap widens. peter22

Just to comment Zsuzsi agree with you that end of times can grab someones attention. Good verses to show all people myself included 1Thessalonians 5 v1-4 more of personal ending and 2 Peter 3v10 more of whole world ending. I myself must constantly remind myself that tomorrow is not guaranteed James 4vs 13-15 are reminders of this...just some thoughts of verses that can help go with your thoughts of how end of times does help to grab someones attention....Verses were taken from kjv
