1 | Do you forgive Judas? | John 13:11 | myah | 42878
Thank you R. Nicholson.
2 | Do you forgive Judas? | John 13:11 | myah | 42851
I would have to say that I forgive Judas also. I have to because that is something that Jesus taught us to do. With his betrayal, That incident sparked the centurion and possibly other doubters to believe that Jesus was(is) the son of God. Not only that but Jesus saved us.I'm happy you asked this question because I was reading in Matt.19:28 and Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed Me in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory ye shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribles of Israel. .... Was he talking about "the twelve?" and if so Jesus knew then that Judas was going to betray him yet his still including him to judge the twelve tribes of Israel in heaven which mean he had already forgiven him for what he was going to do..... that's deep. Maybe I read too much into that verse.... maybe not. So if Jesus forgave him, why can't we?
3 | Jesus knew.......... | John 13:11 | myah | 41945
Well I am in awe at the answers that have been given by everyone. I am very familiar with Gen 50:20 and I am also very familiar with the verse of Jesus warning us on judging each other. We as a people can not call each other foolish or ignorant for what we think because some people do not have access to all of the different interpretations of the Bible and we as a people are not going to interpret things the same. I like the different view points of everyone. After all when Jesus was on the cross dying he did say "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Then again suicide is a sin you can't repent for. Thank you all for thoughts on this question.
4 | Jesus knew.......... | John 13:11 | myah | 41749
I have a question and I'm not quite sure if its appropriate to ask. I was watching the History channel last night and they had a special on Judas Iscariot. I've always had a question about the betrayal. In John 13, Jesus knew that Judas was going to betray him. Judas did exactly what Jesus said one of his disciples was going to do. If Judas was born for that purpose to betray Jesus so he could die for us, does that mean that Judas went to heaven or hell because he fulfilled what had to be done for our salvation? Or am I thinking too hard about this situation?
5 | Ruth, Naomi | Ruth 1:20 | myah | 23223
Dear Searcher, I don't recall you answering any questions I've asked before since I've only asked 2 on this website. SO I didn't quite understand your answer. I guess I should have said How did Ruth know that she was doing hte right thing?
6 | Ruth, Naomi | Not Specified | myah | 22691
I have a few questions about the book of Ruth. I may need to read a different version of the bible interpretation but I don't really find it to be a love story. To me it paints a picture of how God's thinks ahead of us all the time. Naomi couldn't understand why God would take her husband and sons away from her and leave her with two other widows just like herself. But God had a bigger and better plan for the future with Ruth. Is it possible God puts many us of here to serve a purpose for other's like our lives don't always count towards our own blessings and do we only get blessed if we do the right thing even if we don't know what the right thing is? I know in the end result Naomi did get a son again but if she wouldn't have allowed Ruth to come with her she would have been wallowing in bitterness. My other question is How do you know that you are on the right path? I know Naomi wanted Ruth to go back to her family but Ruth insisted on staying with Naomi. Naomi thought she was doing the right thing by telling those ladies to go back home. How do you know you're doing the right thing?

8 | need scripture on discerning motives.... | Not Specified | myah | 21929
Is there any scripture I can read daily to help strengthen discernment and wisdom in me that will keep married men, engaged men, and men with girlfriends away from me? I am single and I've been praying and I've been fasting for almost 2 weeks now on removing this cycle that continues to follow me. The cycle is that men always approach me to get to know me in an inappropriate way when they have wives and/or girlfriends. Some tell me they have significant others, many don't. I've been trying to do this all by myself but do I need to step up and ask my pastor and the intercessor's to pray over me and help deliver me from this? whatever I'm doing is not working. This just doesn't happen on the street. This happens in my church also. I'm not doing anything to provoke this, they approach me. I'm at my breaking point and this is taking a toll on my self esteem because I'm tired of people seeing as second, or as the last fling. I want to be seen just like they see their wives, girlfriends, and fiance's. I want to be looked at as wife material but I can't seem to get that respect because everyone is seeing me as the perfect woman to be the other woman. I've even thought about ending this fast because I feel I'm not doing it right. PLEASE help me with some scripture concerning deliverance, wisdom. discernment.
