1 | ministry? | Heb 13:8 | mercy@grace2u | 89200
This Forum is a tremendous, source of blessing and truly it is "ministry" for me. I was refered to this site by my son who is a couputer "geek" but loves God. In interacting on this Forum keep me after the thing of God and reaching out to others. In 1 corinthians 5:18 says: Now all things are of God, who has has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, verse: 19 says: that is God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputting their tresses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconcilation. So you see God has given us as his sons a work to do and he has also given us the "how tos" to get it done. In Philippians 1:6 says: being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. When we look at what the world is do to pervert the minds of our loved ones, we are moviated to do God's work. |

6 | What purpose does The Holy Spirit serve? | Luke 11:13 | mercy@grace2u | 88906
Even though good fathers make mistakes, they treat their children well. How much better our perfect heavenly Father treats His children! The most important gift He could ever give us is the Holy Spirit (Act2:1_4) whom He promise to give all believers after His death, ressurection and return to heaven (John 15:26). The Holy Spirit bears witness to Jesus' divine sonship, true humanity and atoning death. 1John 5:8 Without the Holy Spirit we cannot please God, Romans 8:8 says: So then they that are in the flesh canot please God. We do not how to approach the Father without the help of the Holy Spirit. In verse 26, it tells us that the Spirit helps us in our weakensses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. We see from scripture that the Holy Spirit is the one that knows the heart and mind of the Father. As believers, you are not left to your own resources to cope with problems. Even when you don't know the right words to pray, the Holy Spirit prays with and for you, and God answers. With God helping you to pray, you don't need to be afraid to come before Him, Ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you "according to the will of God" Then when you bring your requests to God, trust that He will always do what is best. I hope this helps you to see the purpose of the Holy Spirit. In Christ Ann |

According to the Scriptures: Apostle are the ones who hears from God. God gives the Apostle revelation of His Word. Who distribute it to the pastors, who then breaks it down so that the Body of Christ can recieve it. Providing this structure is in place. 1Timothy 1:1 Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our saviour, and the Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; 2Timothy 1:1 Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, See Hebrews 9:15 Diciples are the ones that are been taught by the Apostle as we see in 2Timothy chapters 1 and 2 Paul is making a disciple of young Timothy, he make mention of his observation in verse 5 of chapter 1 When I call to rememberance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persauded that in thee also. Wherefore I put you in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. See 1 Timothy 4:13-16. |
