1 | One or both criminals reviled Jesus? | Matt 27:44 | melanchthon | 136449
EdB - this does seem to be the most plausible response to this issue. I do wish that Matthew had noted this also, but, alas, he did not. We will have to ask him about it when we see him.

Anyone have a good way to reconcile the account of the two robbers crucified with Jesus found in Matthew 27.44 and Luke 23.39-43? Matthew reports both reviled him and Luke begs to differ indicating that one of them sided with Jesus.

4 | How did Jer. do this? | Jer 25:15 | melanchthon | 1778
You response does not really satisfy my question. Jeremiah was actually taken against his will to Egypt by rebel Israelites after the governor appointed by the conquering forces was assasinated. Anyway, the prophet was directed to take the cup to specific countries, some of them distant. My question is not necessarily whether he did it or not but how it was accomplished with the situation as it was in the land at that time. Any further thoughts?

Regarding Jer. 25.15-29. Did Jeremiah literally/physically go to each of the locations mentioned? Some locations indicated that he was to contact the "kings" (kings?). This was part of my Bible reading today and has me scratching my head. Any thoughts?
