3 | who is chosen? | Bible general Archive 2 | maydayjohn | 128834
CHOSEN...God knows whats going to happen in mans freewill....So he knows if a man will choose or miss out on the opportunity, however he does not stop the freewill process. Imagine a DOOR..saying ALL may ENTER the kingdom of GOD....Some choose and some ignore and reject. The people who enter ...see a welcome sign saying...For the chosen ones...while the others who are outside never make it to that point. I hope its kinda clear |

7 | Is God somehow responsible? | Rom 1:20 | maydayjohn | 70084
If god was responsible for everything then you cannot claim the freedom of choice to be yours alone..true. Overcoming your circumstances and then making your choice in gods favour shows the complete submission of your heart and mind no matter how bad the situations you end up in. Analyse jobs life and his circumstances Joseph ,daniel...None of them wanted to be in bad circumstances..but they were subjected to harsh circumstances and they made the choice according to what god would like and not what the circumstances pressed on them. Imagine a wall where a door is labelled saying all are welcome into the kingdom of god no matter what your circumstances may be...but only few of them choose to walk in and the others just walk by.The ones who walk in turnaround to see a welcome note for the chosen ones on the other side of the wall door.So its you who finally decide to be or not to be....pray and seek answers..god bless |

10 | being a scrifice to God - fragrant | Rom 12:1 | maydayjohn | 61870
Mary broke the vase of fragrant perfume (which was a years wage for her) and poured it on Jesus's head and annointed him which shows she loved him with everything ,and that vase resembles any individual and we need to break ourselves and pour ourselves completely so that he is glorified and the aroma comes from our lives after total surender to him just as the aroma was sealed till the vase was broken. and We are called to be "living sacrifices to the lord",think about it sacrifices are dead and clean animals on the altar of god,but we have been called to be "LIVING SACRIFICES" which means we tend to crawl out (because we are living )off the altar too often and Gods word asks us to die to ourselves so that we have complete surrender. |
