If we are not ready it behooves us to get in a hurry and get ready. we have no time to lose. I do beleive Jesus' return is near. too much is happening that we can't do anything about, but Jesus can help us to be ready to meet him if we allow him to. He came that we might have life and that more abundantly. amen
2 | Pls give me other bible references in NT | Hebrews | matronsgt13 | 187378
Read Luke 6:38- this scripture can be used in a lot of different ways, but the bottom line is giving. as you see all through Gods Holy word, we are to be givers just as Jesus was a giver/servant. so we give of our substance/money by tithing and giving in the offering according to how God has blessed us, but tithing we pay because we owe that to God it is a commandment from God that we pay our tithes. then He in turn blesses us for doing so. and God only ask for ten percent. but you are right it is a blessing to those who give, but it must be willingly and not grudgingly. also read 1 corinthians 9:6,7. and do be blessed my sister or brother.

for the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appear to all men, that is Titus vs 11. we all have the same opportunity or access to salvation, through the shedding of my Savior, blood. vs 12 , tells us we must "deny all ungodliness, any thing that will seperate us from God is ungodliness. Jesus gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity. (sin). the true Christian life is what make us eligiable for heaven. no sin will enter in to the kingdom of God. and in order to be a canidate for heaven we must be born into the kingdom of God. and sin wont allow us to enter in.
7 | what scripture relates blessings to luck | Prov 10:22 | matronsgt13 | 176871
there is an old saying, " luck is in God , conduct is in the people. Ecclesiastes 9:11-last part of verse " but time and chance happeneth to us all. Proverbs 10:22 lets us know the blessings of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he added no sorrow with it. every thing that happens to us, happens for a reason. and we have just coincidented God out of the program, but good luck or bad luck has nothing to do with it. It is always the blessings of the Lord that keeps us going, and our choosing has a lot to do with it. we can't continue in sin and expect God to keep us going in a good direction all the time, even tho God said he would let it rain on the unjust as it rain on the just, but MARK 8:36 asks a question? for what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his soul...think about it. Luck is in God, conduct is in the people.
8 | So the law was valid until his death? | Mark 7:19 | matronsgt13 | 176242
Isaiah 59:3- For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue hath muttered perverseness. No it is not what enters into man that causes him to sin against God, for the simple reason we are born in sin and shaped in inquity, and there is nothing but evil in the heart because of Adam' disobeying God from the beginning. But if all these things are in the heart whether you eat or drink, what is in the heart will come out. because the heart is the core of man. and we need to let Jesus cleanse that heart and replace it with the fruits of the spirits and then we will have what we need to survive. Love joy peace long suffering ect.

10 | the impartance of the twelve tribes | Rev 21:12 | matronsgt13 | 176240
Revelation 21 chapter talks about the new heaven and the new earth. you find this in verses 1-8, then verses 9-27 talks about the new heaven. and if you would look at verse 12 it talks about the twelve gates. "And a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.there are twelve gates and there are twelve tribes of Israel. I hope this helps, or can get you started with your research.
11 | choose life | John 1:1 | matronsgt13 | 176238
Gen. 1:1- In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. IN the beginning, God. God has always been, always is, and always will be. from the very beginning it is God. There are so many things that man uses to try and discredited God, but that makes it no lest true. It is still going to be God, and always will be God. (John 1:1)Part B the word was with God and the word was God, and in this dispensation of time it is still God. No matter what man may think or do it is still God.Rev. 11:17, We give thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come. You see God has always been always is, and always will be. He started this and He will end this, not man ,but God. Acts 17:24 says- God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwellth not in temples made with hands. God is a awesome God, and it behooves us to live according to his plan if we intend to inhert eternal life in the end. there was once a time of ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men every where to repent. you see once God winked at sin, but no more He gave us a remedy , and that was throught His Son Jesus that we could live the life that will inhert eternal life for us. John 3:16 is a farmiliar scripture to every one, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that who so ever believe in him should not perish but have eternal life. So in concluding , I erge every one that read this to choose life. It has been sat aside for us and we can choose life. through Christ, He made it possible. |

12 | Seven (7) Feasts | Lev 23:1 | matronsgt13 | 176066
I looked this up in my commentary, and I hope this helps. (the seven feast or"holy convocations") find their fulfillment in Christ. it stated that the first four feast are already fulfilled, and the latter three will be fulfilled at the coming of Christ. (1)the passover speaks of redemption. (2) the feast of unleavened bread typical of our justificationand sanctification. (3) the feast of first fruits was fulfilled in the resurrection of Christ.(4)pentecost was fulfilled when Christ sent the Holy Spirit to began the harvest of the Church. there are so much more and there are scriptures concerning these, but it takes time to get them all together inorder so the research can be done. if you have a reference bible it is usually more scriptures given to help us understand what is being said and the dispensation of time that it was done or said. but it is good to study these scriptures and get the understanding.
13 | loving God as much as he loved us | John 3:16 | matronsgt13 | 176064
John 3:16 is a verse of how much God loved us, and gave his only son that we could have a chance to eternal life. In the life we know that time will end whether it be the end of all things or the end of ones life. We need to rest assured that we must have some where to go that is peaceful. Now we know that hell was created for the devil and his angles, even tho some people dose not beleive that there is a hell, that don't make it no less true. It is a literally burning hell and it is just that terrible that God gave his son in redemption for our sins. You see through one man (Adam) sin entered in the world, and thank God through one man (Jesus) forgiviness of sin was provided. If hell wasn't so terrible Jesus wouldn't have had to go through the agony that he endured. It behooves us to get it right with God and get rid of anything within that is not like him, because no sin is going to enter into God heaven. Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people, and God has given us chance after chance to make it right. God is able to carry us through, beleive me we can't make it on our own. we are human , but through the strenght of God we can make it. And heaven will surely be worth it all.
14 | it was all in the plan | Matt 1:5 | matronsgt13 | 176020
We have to realize that God can and will use whom ever he want to bring his plan into play. And whom ever God chooses to use he will prepare them for the job he want them to do. And this also show that God has no respect of persons, we no the history of the moabites, but remember this the gentil race of people had a bad history to but yet God alowed us to be grafted in so that we could be saved. Read also Ruth 1:4, and Ruth 4:17. and Know this it was all in the Plan of God. in fact read the entire chapter of Matt the first chapter. it is telling of the genealogy of Jesus. Whom Jesus calls , He surely qualifies.
15 | Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth | John 14:26 | matronsgt13 | 173894
When Jesus accended back to Heaven, the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost was sent to us. as long as Jesus was here He kept all things accordingly. He is the word that was made flesh, but when Jesus left to return to Heaven, there was a need for a guide, which is the Holy Ghost. Now we can't come to the Father except we be drawn by the spirit, which is the spirit of the Holy Ghost. If we are christians, the Holy Ghost is here to guide us into all truth, and if we are non-christians, the Holy Ghost is here to convict us so we can become a born again christian. all through the bible the scripture tell us this "to day you hear my voice harden not your heart". and when the Holy Ghost convicts us we should yeild. there is also a scripture that tell us not to grieve the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:30 tell us " and grieve not the Holy Spirit of God. and remember we can not come to God except his Spirit draw us. and the Holy Spirit is here to lead us gudie us and teach us, you see we can't please God except we let the Holy Spirit guide us, and this is why the Holy Spirit is here to guide us into all truth. remember this many are called but few are chosen, but whom soever will let him come .
16 | lest return the love to God | John 3:16 | matronsgt13 | 171924
Isn't it great that God so loved us so much that he gave his Son. If God hadn't given us his son we would be with out hope and most miserable. But because God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever beleived in him would have everlasting life. But what is so crul is that oh to many people don't return that love to God. But I love him so and want to serve him. what about anyone else? Seek ye the Lord while he may be found. God' spirit will not always strive with man.

19 | Why is Asher so blessed? | Deut 33:24 | matronsgt13 | 170486
blessed means happy.they would be most blessed or happy among the tribes. they would be secure from their enimies, and blessed by God with strenght to live life to the fullest through out thier life time. Gen 49: 20 Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yeild royal dainties. there is a lot more that leads to his blessings. and if there are decendants living to day the blessings are still extended because God dose not go back on his word.
20 | What encouragement had God previously | Gen 39:21 | matronsgt13 | 170485
In this chapter it tell us that the Lord was with Joseph and all that Joseph did it prospered with the help of God. Joseph was placed in Egypt for a purpose, and that was to sustain Gods people Isareal. If you can remember back when Joseph was having those dreams, his brothers was bowed to him. and this made them mad so they plotted against him, all but one which told them to put him in a pit, and he was going to take him out and carry him to his father, but the others sold him before he could do this. this is a good bible story of how God will make a way when there seems to be no way.
