Many versions of the Apostle's Creed state that He decended to the "dead" rather than the older version which you correctly state says "hell." It is merely semantics, the meaning is the same. | ||||||

Why did Jesus tell the good theif that He would see him in Heaven "that day" whe in the Apostle's Creed we say that Jesus "decended to the dead" for three days.
