4 | Demons? Today? | Matt 8:31 | keynam | 109470
my daughter is in a special school and gets evaluated for everything down to biopolar. I was just using her as an example because there was a time when we were arguing and I decided to tell satan that he had no power over her to leave her alone, when I said that her response was oh man is that all you got. she has never responded like that before. also when she is having an attack and I start singing Christian songs she starts screaming at the top of her lungs and tells me that she hates Jesus and loves the devil. it's just certain things that i'm up against that makes me wonder if she's possessed.
5 | Demons? Today? | Matt 8:31 | keynam | 109455
demons today are very real. I believe that my daughter 9 years old is demon possessed. she has adhd and odd and there are times in her tantrums that she blurts out things totally beyond her character. I've also seen people delivered from demons in my church.
6 | Rebaptism, why? | Acts 19:5 | keynam | 108567
I don't know which baptist you are talking about because although I am now penecostal I was raised in a baptist church and people were only rebaptised if they wanted to be just like at my present church I got rebaptised in nov to reafirm my faith and declare that as an adult i have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Now I do know that some baptist churches do say that inorder to become a member of their church you must be baptised regardless of if you were baptised before or not, this is not saying that you aren't saved but it's just a part of becoming a member of the church.
7 | Baptism? Which way is right? | Acts 19:5 | keynam | 108566
I don't have a scripture to back this up right now but I do know that John the Baptist did not baptise people in Jesus name and I see nothing wrong with baptising in the name of the Father,Son, and Holy Ghost because they are all names of Jesus. So those of us who believe that they must be baptised in Jesus only must realise that Jesus is called many different things and as for my church to cover everything my pastor baptises in the name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost and that's all in the name of Jesus.

10 | Is the sin nature a substance or mindset | Phil 3:9 | keynam | 100430
Sin is a part of us as the Bible says and I think all can agree that (We have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.) (I'm pharaprasing)We are born into sin therefore we must repent daily.
11 | Why don't you know for sure? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100428
you are perfectly right when you say that free will is mentioned in the Bible. What I was saying is I don't recall it being mentioned in Genisis hence I went on Biblegateway.com and looked under the kjv typed the key word free will and these scriptures came up. Exodus 21:5; Leviticus 22:18,21,23; Leviticus 23:38; Number 15:3;Numbers 29:39;Deuteronomy 12:6,17; and so on, but even when you look at these versus they talk about free will offering. The chap in Genisis that you refered to does not clearly state that Adam had a mind of his own it just states the God told Adam not to eat of the tree of knowledge(did I get it right I got it confused last time lol)before Adam and Eve ate of the tree the only thing they knew was Good so they didn't have to choose to do anything they listened to what God told them until Satan came along. The first sign of a thought pattern for man(or woman I should say) is when Eve was talking with the serpant before if I'm not mistaken there wasn't any. |

12 | Why don't you know for sure? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100219
I'm sorry if I gave you the feeling i was trying to have the final thought and I have done the research and am continually doing it. I got my scriptures from God's book of Promises when it talks about lonliness. That is the closest thing I could find to answer if God leaves us alone. again I apologize if I offended anyone by bringing up the fact that God can not look on sin and that is scriptural in that He turned His back on Jesus and the whole sky went dark when Jesus hung His head and died. This is only my belief that the only time God leaves us alone is when we are in sin which is why it's nesseccary to have Jesus and the HOly Spirit as our interssesor. (please excuse the spelling.) I hope there is no hard feelings
13 | Why don't you know for sure? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100218
The Bible doesn't talk about man having free will in the garden however it does say that God commanded adam not to eat of the tree of life and after the serpant talked eve into eating it she in turn gave it to adam and he ate with no questions asked. I often wonder why God allowed that to happen I assume that He knew it would happen but the question is why.
14 | Are you quite sure about that? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100216
I agree. If Jesus Himself was tested then who's to say that we should not be tested also.
15 | Are you quite sure about that? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100215
the person is asking why is it that God seems to leave us alone for such long periods of time and I was explaining that God doesnot leave us alone, we choose not to call on Him until we can no longer handle it our selves. read all my posts and you will understand.
16 | Why don't you know for sure? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100192
That's a good question. I'm thinking that because they had no knowledge that there was anyother way that they didn't have to choose, but then he did choose to eat the apple so it does prove that he was able to think. can someone help us.
17 | Are you quite sure about that? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100191
Do you realize that the times when we are left alone is the times when we are sinning. I don't know the purpose of Jesus's being alone in the wilderness but then again I always thought that meant he didn't take his deciples with him because while he was there he was fasting and praying. I also believe that the only time Jesus was alone was when the devil came to tempt Him. Also Jesus was left alone on the cross when He bowed His head and died and the earth turned dark. These two times He was left alone was because God can't look on sin and sin was in Jesus's presence both times.
18 | Are you quite sure about that? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100140
I am very confident in the answer I'm about to give you I just read Isa 54:7 and I feel that the reason "for a small momentI have forsaken thee" is because the barren woman was considered to have sinned and the Bible says that God cannot look on sin which is why we must repent everyday if we want God to see us. About God leaving us alone, as a whole I still say know. Put it this way we as Christians always have a tendancy to say something told me to do this or something told me to do that. Like for instance if you were about to make a left turn and you all of a sudden changed your mind a made a right turn and later on you heard there was a fatal accident at the time you would've been on that street. that most definately wasn't your mind telling you that but if you pray like I do before I start driving you ask God to protect you from hurt harm and danger and God's way of doing that is by having you change your mind. Another thing I must say that I'm guilty of is we as a human race are always too busy we pray but we don't take the time to sit and listen to what God has to say in return. Think about it do you like to be involved in one sided conversations where you don't get a chance to talk. Neither does God so I still say He's always there and I stick by my previous scriptures. |

19 | why did'nt GOD accept CAIN'S offering? | Genesis | keynam | 100077
Ed Yes this is true of our own lives mine is a prime example I was raised in the church yet for almost 3 years I stayed home watching sunday morning preachers saying I was still getting the word where the fact is the Bible says forsake ye not the assembling of God. So I've now only just begun to accept the full responsiblities of being a christian within the last year of my life fully understanding that if I didn't I would go straight to hell. |

20 | Why don't you know for sure? | Eccl 11:6 | keynam | 100076
I'm just going by the history of God's anger among the people of Israel, Yes there was forgiveness from God and He gave them another chance but once God got fed up that was it He destroyed the earth by the flood, and He also destroyed Sodom and Gomora(excuse the spelling I'm at work and don't have my bible in front of me. Joe I am not an expert but this is what has been said in the new testament and is always being said around me that we are now living under God's grace and Mercy. I hear countless Pastor's say this.
