2 | Did God know David before his Mom womb | Jer 1:5 | kasadya | 12619
I don't know if there is one specific to knowing David, but the bible does say He knows all of us before we are in our mother's womb. He knows how many hairs are on our head. So, if He knows All of us then that would include David.
3 | The Great Prostitue? | Revelation | kasadya | 12617
From everything I've read you are right. It is the one world religion. If you are interested in this sort of thing I strongly suggest "The Left Behind" series. It has been a wonderful tool to understanding Revelations and it has been a GREAT witnessing tool.
4 | Is "pleading the blood" scriptural? | Bible general Archive 1 | kasadya | 12135
EdB gave you a very good explanation as did glory777. I used to be baptist now I'm pentecostal and pleading the Blood of Jesus is not something I first heard in my pentecostal church. When Christ shed His blood that became our new covenant with God. It is a way to align your self with Christ. In the Old Testament the Isralites had to put Lambs blood above their door post in order to escape death. The only way to get to the Father is through Jesus so we must cover our selves with His blood. |

5 | No medical/spiritual need to circumcise? | Bible general Archive 1 | kasadya | 11821
I know you weren't saying yea or nay. Neither was I. I was just giving another point of view. I can only imagine how painful it would be later in life! Ouch!
6 | No medical/spiritual need to circumcise? | Bible general Archive 1 | kasadya | 11787
For some reason this is a very sensative issue with alot of people. I just want to say my son has never had any problems with hygeine or infection. As for the higher risk of penile cancer. I'm sure he will take that into account when he makes the decision to be circumcised. Also, the trend is moving away from all males being circumcised. Everything I've read states Dr.'s aren't doing it unless the parent specifically asks that it be done. Most males in the "Y" generation are not circumcised. |

7 | married men | Matt 5:28 | kasadya | 11784
I guess my question to you Peches is where both of you Christians at the time you were having the affair? If not and you are now, you are both free to remarry. Otherwise, you, him, his ex wife, and her new spouse are all committing adultry. Nolan is right. Have a meeting with your pastor to discuss this issue. I know what I believe, but your denomination may teach something different and I don't want to run the risk of offending you. Don't be afraid of God not forgiving you. He has forgiven me of things I don't think He should have, but he did any way. |

8 | No medical/spiritual need to circumcise? | Bible general Archive 1 | kasadya | 11752
I was pregnant with my son before I became a Christian so I haven't felt the need to look up anything Biblically on this issue. However, all the baby books I read when I was pregnant said it is psychologically better for the child to look like his father, so my child is not circumcised. On a personal note. I think circumcision is like plastic surgery. Do we as parents have the right to change a child's nose or cheek bones because we don't like the way it looks? This is a decision I'm leaving up to my child. |

9 | Why did Gideon test the Lord (vv 36-40)? | Judg 6:37 | kasadya | 11673
I always ask God for confirmation when I feel like He has told me to do something. One time I felt like God was telling me to quit my job. I was completely prepared to do it no questions asked. Then I asked for confirmation. I kept coming across people, scripture, and books that said "God is not the Author of confusion." I had some lady say "Make sure satan isn't telling you to do something so later on you will say why did you do this to me God." I could go on and on about the ways God has used people to confirm His will. I personally think it is OK to ask for a little confirmation. Not a big confirmation. Just a little one.
10 | Be perfect? | Matt 5:48 | kasadya | 11669
No, I don't think it is possible for us to be perfect. Then we would all be little gods running around here on earth. I think His command to be perfect meant to strive to be perfect as God is. If we could be perfect we wouldn't have needed Jesus.
11 | Do I have it? | Is 27:11 | kasadya | 11668
In the last 5 months it seems like I just always know what God wants me to do. Do I stay at my job or find another one? Do I get out of a relationship or not? These are really big decisions that didn't take me anytime to make because it was like God burned it in my heart before I even asked. Of course I prayed for confirmation to make sure it was Him and not satan trying to trick me and it was always confirmed. Is this discernment? I don't mean to ask stupid questions, but I'm really new at this. |

12 | Do you remain loyal and get carried away | Heb 13:9 | kasadya | 11661
The Spirit tells you if something isn't right. If you listen to people whose teachings are false you are standing in agreement with that false teaching. Even if you don't say with your mouth you agree with it just being there is an agreement. It's like being in a bar. You know it's wrong and the Spirit tells you you shouldn't be there, but you stay. You don't have a drink, but just being there hurts you.
13 | How much submitting must a woman do? | 1 Corinthians | kasadya | 11658
I just read a book on marriage and divorce. It said if a husband is abusive in anyway to leave, and ask the church for a divorce. It says not to ask the secular court until you've asked the church because the church is God's court. It also talks about the word "die". The bible says the only way you can remarry is if your spouse "dies" or for infidelity. The word "die" does not just mean physical death. It also means spiritual death. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit God told them they would 'surely die'. Adam and Eve lived for many years after that. God meant they were spiritually dead. If your husband is spiritually dead you have the right to a divorce and to remarry when the time is right. I don't remember the name of the book and it is at home and I am a work. I will post you the name tomorrow so you can read it if you like. It is filled with wonderful information all backed up back scripture. Also, keep in mind it did not say God commands us to get a divorce. He only gives us that option in certain cases. |

17 | What is a generatonal curse? | Gal 1:9 | kasadya | 11519
Everything that was posted was truely of God! He spoke to me through each of you and made me realize I was giving satan too much glory and not enough to Him. Thank you all!
18 | Demon-possessed believer? | Luke 4:33 | kasadya | 11517
A person who has been born again and saved by the blood of Jesus CAN NOT be possessed. Like JVH212 said (way back in May) as Christians we can be oppressed but not possessed. A "believer" is completely different from Christian. I was a believer for years before I made Christ the King of my life. I guess the answer to your question is Yes a "believer" can be possessed, but a Christian can not. |
