john 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. hebrews 1:5-9 to which of the angels did (God) ever say, "today you are My Son, today I have begotten you"? and again, "I will be a Father to Him and He shall be a Son to Me"? and again when He again brings the first-born into the world, He says, "and let all the angels of God worship Him." of the angels He says, "who makes His angels winds, and His ministers a flame of fire." but of the Son He says, "Thy throne, o God, is forever, and the righeous scepter is the scepter of Your kingdom." You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Thy God has anointed Thee with the oil of gladness above Thy fellows." --- whether its "hell" or "hades".. the mention means its there, rather than not being there at all. revel.1:18, Jesus said "I have the keys of death, and hell." revel.6:8, (of the four horses of the apocalypse) ".. death and hades followed with him." hell, hades is the abode of those that refuse salvation through Christ Jesus. ps.9:17, the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. lk.16:22-23 in hades (the rich man) lifted up his eyes, being in torment. revel.20:14, death and hades were thrown into the lake of fire. vs 15, anyone's name that was not found written in the book of life, was thrown into the lake of fire. 19:20, the beast and with him the false prophet.. were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. 20:10, the devil .. was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone.. there to be tormented forever. --- i believe the Bible called dinosaurs: leviathan, dragon, serpent. |

reading further, Paul indicates that he's speaking of those who are not saved. eph.5:5-8 no idolator has inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God...let no one deceive you with empty words... the sons of disobedience... do not be partakers with them. Paul makes a comparison between believers, 4:25-30.. and those who are not, 5:5-8 |

2corinth.5:8, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. at death, our spirit goes directly to heaven. 1thessal.4:14, He will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep. 1thessal.4:14-17 at the time of the rapture, Jesus brings those "departed spirit" persons with Him and they rejoin with their bodies that Jesus makes glorified. and those still alive get glorified bodies as well. then in glorified form all rise up to heaven to be with the Lord. |
