I think I didn't write "Christ went to Heaven for our restoration." The restoration 'am referring to is the work all for which the heavenly sanctuary is concerned for man's final restoration (if not found wanting). Though your question is fair, does heaven need cleansing or how could a Sanctuary in Heaven need cleansing? Let me bounce back a question for you, what does the sanctuary written in the Bible meant to you ( not on your own interpretation but to what the Bible has to say)? not unless we know what does the Sanctuary really does can we obtain answer to why "Cleansing in the heavenly Santcuary?" Let me share you the the following text, In Hebrew 9:23 Paul says " It was therefore necessary that the PATTERNS OF THINGS IN THE HEAVENS should be purified with these (Blood of the animals); but the heavenly things themeselves with better sacrifices than these(even the precious blood of Christ)." To obtain a further knowledge of the cleansing to which the prophecy points, it was necessary to understand the ministration of the the heavenly sanctuary. This could be learned only from the ministration of the earthly sanctuary; for Paul declares that the priests who officiated there served "UNTO THE EXAMPLE AND SHADOW OF HEAVENLY THINGS" Heb. 8:5 And what was done in type in the Ministration of the earthly sanctuary , is done in reality in the ministartion of the heavenly sanctuary. Its' quite long if I have to write down how Earthly Sanctuary goes for deeper understanding but l'll let ypu have it via email likewise your question on the 2300 years prophecy. Greetings Prayon! Thanks for your concern. There's this follow-up question I'd asked to Kalos and CDBJ which I didn't get an answer, searcher I supposed gave an answer leading to another topic. My questions are these: 1.Is the 7 years of tribulation stated in the Book of Daniel has yet to come or this is the part of the 2300 years prophecy that was fulfilled when the Messiah came? 2. Greetings Searcher! Thank you for u'r answer though we're going far from the tribulation and here you started about the Cleansing of the Sanctuary. Let me ask if the Lord needed to give up all the power of Heaven for man to be restored then is it impossible then that there's cleansing need in Heaven? the cleansing is not for Heaven but for our restoration. Let me share you this: ¡°Cleansing of the Sanctuary¡± After His ascension, our Saviour began His work as our high priest. Says Paul, "Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us." Hebrews 9: 24. . . . For eighteen centuries this work of ministration continued in the first apartment of the sanctuary. The blood of Christ, pleaded in behalf of penitent be- lievers, secured their pardon and acceptance with the Father, yet their sins still remained upon the books of record. As in the typical service there was a work of atonement at the close of the year, so before Christ's work for the redemption of men is completed, there is a work of atonement for the removal of sin from the sanctuary. This is the service which began when the 2300 days ended. At that time . . . our High Priest entered the most holy, to perform the last division of His solemn work--to cleanse the sanctuary. . The coming of Christ as our high priest to the most holy place, for the cleansing of the sanctuary, brought to view in Daniel 8:14; the coming of the Son of man to the Ancient of days, as presented in Daniel 7: 13; and the coming of the Lord to His temple, foretold by Malachi, are descriptions of the same event; and this is also represented by the coming of the bridegroom to the marriage, described by Christ in the parable of the ten virgins, of Matthew 25. The cleansing of the sanctuary . . . involves a work of investigation -- a work of judgment. This work must be performed prior to the coming of Christ to redeem His people; for when He comes, His reward is with Him to give to every man according to his works. In the day of final reckoning, position, rank, or wealth will not alter by a hair's breadth the case of any one. Kalos and you both mentioned the book of Daniel which contains the prophecy on 2300 years that has taken place already during the coming of the Messiah. Where did you get this less than 3 years? Is their really text that talks about the exact years of tribulation before Christ Second Coming? |

John Chapter 9 In chapter 9 we come to the testimony of His works, but as down here as a man in lowliness. It is not the Son of God quickening whom He will as the Father, but by the operation of His grace down here, the eye opened to see in the lowly man the Son of God. In chapter 8 it is that which He is towards men; in chapter 9 it is that which He does in man, that man may see Him. Thus we shall find Him presented in His human character, and (the word being received) acknowledged to be the Son of God; and in this way the remnant separated, the sheep restored to the good Shepherd. He is the light of the world while He is in it; but where, through grace received in His humiliation, He communicated the power to see the light, and to see all things by it. Observe here, that when it is the word (the manifestation in testimony of what Christ is), man is manifested as he is in himself, a child-in his nature-of the devil, who is a murderer and a liar from the beginning, the inveterate enemy of Him who can say, "I am." [See Footnote #36] But when the Lord works, He produces something in man that he had not previously. He bestows sight on him, attaching him thus to the One who had enabled him to see. Do you need to review with yourself what marriage is? Open your bible and study God's Word for marriage. Do you know your biblical role as a husband or wife? Did you go into marriage with the idea that "I'll try it"? Solid marriages are built with the knowledge that this is "FOREVER"! It is THIS FOUNDATION that keeps the two from wandering too far apart! What is YOUR true vision of marriage? Do you both share that vision? If you honestly desire to try and make your marriage work, you will need to examine yourself. Then, you will be able to honestly speak to your partner with humility, as to what YOUR role has been to bring the marriage to this point. Your own humility should be the base for the other person to examine his or her role also. This may not happen exactly in the time that you wish, but you must pray for this person and leave the rest to God! One of you is going to have to break the misery, the silence, the anger, the tears. Work on yourself to become the person that God has intended you to become as husband or wife. Make YOUR life the example! In God, everything is possible! In all their affliction He was afflicted" He suffers with us and remember His hands that maybe at times just give a tap on us is a nailed scarred hand. Indeed following His Footsteps is Denying Oneself as He has Denied Himself for us to follow. Giving up all Heaven has to offer for a world who did not love Him. I like how Edward Gritt put his words so"let us all, as we are called to it, take up our cross and follow Christ. There is no other way to follow him but to the cross, for he went no other way. By that cross let the world be crucified to us and us to the world. We must bear the cross if we would wear the crown. Let us commit all our interests to the divine management, in readiness cheerfully to endure whatever he shall impose who for us agonized in Gethsemane and Golgotha, and to resign whatever he shall require who gave up heaven and life for us.
