1 | Who was Elihu? | Job | gawoman | 242022
Hi: Elihu was the son of Barachel the Buzite of the family of "Ram" as a descendant of Buz, Elihu was evidently a distant relative of Abraham. Elihu appreciated that wisdom was not the exclusive possession of those advanced in years but that God spirit made one truly wise. He leaned heavily on God's spirit and thus was able to discer correctly that Job had failed to appreciate that the vindication of God is far more important than the vindication of any man and that Job's three friends had actually pronounced God wicked.
2 | jobs suffering | Job | gawoman | 242021
Hi: Just a word or two of clarity on your question concerning Job's suffering. First, Job's integrity was challenged by Satan. Then, God with confidence in that integrity and knowing His own ability to recover and reward Job, permitted Satan to test Job's integrity to the limit, but he did not allow Satan to kill Job. It should be noted here that a challenge was being raise concerning a man's integrity to God. It was a challenge made before all of the Angels in heaven and therefore It had to be settled so God allowed the test to settle that issue of a man's integrity to God. By the way, that same challeng of man's integrity to God still stands to be answered by each christian today.

4 | will God forgive you for sex | Matt 26:28 | gawoman | 242018
Sex within the bounds of marriage has always had God's approval. However sex before marriage is discussed by the Apostle Paul in the Bible at Galatians chapter 5:19-21. At 1Corinthians chapter 5: verses 9-13 Paul stated that sex before marriage or "fornication" is an offense for which an individual may be expelled from the Christian congregation. However in Chapter 6 of 1Corinthians verse 11 talked about some of those early Christians who previously has been fornicators how they had now become washed cleans of their previous sins. So therefore conversion and repentance is required for forgiveness of one's previous sins.

The English Word "Atonement" is derived from the Expression "at one" and, as applied Biblically, means a covering of sins. Remission Is defined as A release from the guilt or penalty of sins. To refrain from exacting or inflicting the penalty of sin. To restore or consign to a former condition. As this relates Biblically, we as imperfect humans needed to have sins remitted or forgiven in order to be reconciled to God.Scripture references are found at Romans 3:23 and Romans 5:12 as for Atonement see Leviticus 4:20. |
