4 | Do you have to be baptized to be saved? | Rom 6:3 | faron | 153745
It would be nice if someone actually answered the question with an answer and not old world translation that makes little sense. My understanding is that you must be saved, which is a church word for believing there is a God and that Jesus is His son and that he died for your sins so that God wouldn't just get pissed off and throw us all into hell and start over with something less stressful like puppies and kitties. Once you have accepted Jesus did that you are "saved", then you get baptized as a symbol of that decision, it's symbolic for your death as a non believer and rising as a believer.
5 | When babies die? | Bible general Archive 2 | faron | 153744
It's not biblical to baptize babies, so you have no worries my friend. That baby is definately in heaven, no doubt about it. You need to be baptized when you accept Jesus as a symbol of your decision. Being baptized or not will not make the difference whether or not you go to hell. You can get to heaven without being baptized.
