	Justme, I am new to this forum and I am only seeking answers. I am not devoted to the "Word of Faith" movement. I'm not sure I am even aware of it. You brought it up about Kuhlman and Hinn in quite an astounding way as to have me question her especially since I've been listening to her tapes. 	Wow..Thanks for the time it took to post all of this. I probably should have asked for info about Kathryn Kuhlman, since there is alot about Benny Hinn written. I would be interested in hearing about her. Peace.

	Justme, Of course I do not see this as a personal attack. You are pointing out these 2 (Kuhlman and Hinn) as false teachers not serving our God or the teachings of Jesus Christ. Since I said I was only listening to her tapes that doesn't attack me as much as them. You say they have a deadly message also. As a fellow christian, please share with me what that is. I believe since you know this, you are now responsible to share it with me since you said as much as you have on here. If anyone else knows reasons why these 2 are false teachers and would not benefit my hearing then please do tell me. Thank you.

	Thank you Ed for your input. I agree, it is God we are to seek. I was interested in hearing what people considered this power to be. Last night the thought that there is such power in prayer came to me but I never heard anyone speak of that being part of the power that was promised. The power of witnessing, healing, yes, but the power of prayer in this context was a new thought to me.

	This verse was brought up before but I would like to bring it up again. What are your thoughts regarding this verse and the power that is promised with the Holy Spirit? Could part of that power be the power we have in prayer?

	Excellent answer Ed! God is more concerned with our spiritual being. This is something that I am hearing alot of lately and of course I know it is true but somehow it is ringing more and more true. We all try to extend our lives as you have said living in a world tainted with sin. This reminds me of Woody Allen's joke about the lady who complained about the food and then went on to say how there wasn't enough of it. Same thing... We have an eternity waiting for us being with the Lord! Praise God. Peace.

	Justme, that was a touching and lovely post and I am in agreement with you. I am sorry to hear of your illness and do hope you are healed but you are right, it is more important that you are in God's direct will. I was just listening to an old Kathryn Kulman tape where she speaks on the necessity of giving up our own will for His. This seems like priceless information to me. 	Palm Coast is a hard one, isn't it! We visisted the Assembly of God church and I don't want to say much except I don't think I would go back. How did you hear about Terry Thomas? 	Ed, thank you. We are in Palm Coast. I am looking for a church that believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The ones we have visited that believe are not satisfactory to me for various reasons, I think you know what I mean. Me and my family are so tired of looking. I have pretty much accepted us staying at the "town" church until God points us to another one. You would think with all these churches one would fit my family but hasn't. 	Wow. You guys are seeing the same things I am seeing in all these new churches popping up all over here in Florida. We have been here 5 months and still have not found a church we are comfortable in. I am very discouraged in what I see. I do not want to get into detail about the reasons for not staying with anyone of these. If you find it in your heart please pray for me that me and my family would find a church to honor and worship God in. I really miss that. Thanks. God Bless.

	Mark 16:17-18 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues, they will take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly it will not hurt them, they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover." These passages to me are referring to all those that believe today! Not just then but now.
