7 Version vs Version - Again Not Specified dat 113998
  Dear Sir Pent

I was referring to Genesis 6. One of them says something like the sons of God married to daughters of men, etc. However, the other version says the Nephilim (angles) married the daughters of men and another version says they were giants. In my mind I mainly just look at other versions and come to my own conclusions (which are usually like most christians). I was just wondering how I would approach my husband since he says I HAVE to stick to that exact version.

9 Were humans a mistake? Not Specified dat 113937
Since God knows all things (past and present), why was he sorry that he created us and then brought the flood? He would have known what we were going to do. Or is this just so that we can see how much God loves us by giving us another chance?

11 Strict Observance of Bible Versions? Not Specified dat 113936
I usually use the NIV version of the bible since it is easier to use. On some occassions I will look at the King James version to compare a passage. I have found some MAJOR word changes in some of the passages. My husband (Mormon) says that if I my church uses a particular version (mine uses the NIV) that I am to only use that version and if I disagree with it, that it proves that the Mormons are right when they say that they believe in the bible "as long as it is tranlated correctly". How can I answer him. I get tongue tied or just keep silent in order to avoid an argument.

15 Was Adam and Eve's fall a good thing? Not Specified dat 108950
I've been trying to explain some things to my mormon husband about the "fall" of Adam and Eve. I'm stuck on what to say to him due to his belief on this issue (which I don't even understand his explaination). He (the mormons) believe that Adam and Eve were doomed to fail because of God's commands to: 1. not eat of the tree of knowledge
2. to be fruitful and multiply
He says that one can not be done without the other (which I don't understand). He believes that the fall was "good". I don't understand any of this and therefore can't make an argument/discussion for my explaination. Does anyone understand this, if so, please explain it to me.

17 Differences Between Protestant Groups Not Specified dat 108949
Does anyone have a short "outline" of the differences, if any, of the different protestant groups? Someone asked me what other protestant beliefs are and I really couldn't answer why I was in a particular protestant church. I only know what my church believes. I thought all protestants believed the same thing and it was just different from catholics. Does anyone have a brief overview of any main differences with the different protestant churchs?
