| I think you guys have and done a great job of trusting God and getting over all the things in your past. I to come from a dark background. What I find in many Christians who come from good backgrounds,Christian parents,growing up in a church etc is they have no idea what it is like going from a wreck to a bright shining new person. God used some pretty interesting people to do his work. What you have done is a lot harder then many church leaders ever experienced or ever will. Whats important is how far we come with Christ, you have come a long way. God is working in your marriage, I think he is very pleased with what you both have done in His son's name. | What a great post, this is the first Easter I havent been to church in a long time also. The Bible alone changed me before I ever stepped into a church. God's Word was enough. I've been involved in 3 church's since my conversion. I've been quite involved in different help ministry's. I'm not going to church to find a social life, I think its great to have fellowship but whats go's on in the churchs I've been to is overshadowing the teaching and leading. And it all go's downhill from there. I just want to learn and study togather, not follow a social and event calender. I'm sure their are tons of people who feel this way, God Bless you.
