1 | reply question to 1 corinth 15 question | 1 Cor 15:52 | cmfrantz | 216471
Sorry, you are right. I didnt mean the dream. What I wanted to refer to is the 70 weeks thing that Daniel prophesied. Sorry for the confusion. I was just noting something from the old testiment that was related to the end times. I do realize the dream was about the 4 nations that will come to power. I am embarrassed.

Why would God want us to know so much about the events that occur after the rapture if the rapture is pre trib. I believe the rapture is going to post trib because God gave us so much information with the trib period and beyond. God gave so much end time information throughout the whole bible including King Nebacanezzers dream and in the Gospels. The bible was written for everyone and if the church is raptured pre trib then Revelations is really only for the people not raptured. The church would have to be refined through the tribulation to be the perfect bride for Jesus. The church needs to understand that they will have to lay down their life and fully rely on God and nothing more is going to make that happen but the tribulation period. We would need to do that by not taking the mark of the beast. There will be the people who will keep hiding in the pockets of mercy. They wont want to go with the authority of the beast and they still are not ready to rely fully on God. They will be the resisters. They will not be raptured but if they make it through Armagedon then they will be the people that will not have resurrected bodies and they will be the ones through the 1000 year reign that will still marry and have children. I am no expert by any means but my explaination that I believe I hope you understand. Please reply and let me know what I might be missing or neglecting in my explaination. I realize my spelling is not perfect with the couple of names I mentioned. I typed this without looking up the correct spelling of those couple of words. |

3 | reply question to 1 corinth 15 question | 1 Cor 15:52 | cmfrantz | 216374
But why does 1 Corinth 15 specifically say the last trumpet. I guess I am hung up on the word "last." To me this would refer to a series of trumpets. I will take your theory with me because it makes a valid point too. Why is it that the majority think that the rapture will be pre trib. Since this has been a debate within the church forever, why is it that the church doesnt prepare us for the possiblity for both ways. It seems that most churches teach pre trib and be done with it. It also seems that many churches dont even discuss the endtimes unless specific questions are asked by an individual. I think it should be a very important topic and that is allows people to understand how important it is to have your heart in the right place now. I think that too many people think it is enough to only believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he died for our sins. They dont have a true relationship with God. They dont repent of their sins and try to stay away from that sin. They may repent but they keep sinning the same sin. They may go to church every Sunday but that is it. They dont think anything again about it until next Sunday. If the rapture would be post trib, they will be fooled and will be the offended that will eventually fall away.

The problem I have with the church is that I think most people are focused on the fact that the rapture will be pretrib. I belive that most churches believe this and teach this, if they decide to even teach anything about the endtimes. Because it is so debatable and because it is possible that the rapture could be post trib, I frustrated that the church doesnt teach the possibility of both ways it could occur. They take one side or the other. If a person believes that it is pre trib then it is too easy to think they have nothing to worry about. They may not take the 10 virgins with the oil lamps too seriously. They will have their lamps but not their oil and they will miss the rapture. I think it is very possible that it will be post trib and I just think the church needs to prepare people for that possiblity. Too may people I have encounter say they will not worry about it because they won't be here for it.

In regards to Romans 5:9--The wrath would be the Bowls, wouldnt it? If the last trumpet is the 7th trumpet then we would be raptured before the bowls start. The bowls being Gods wrath. The seals, trumpets, and the bowls are all taking place in the sevenieth week. This week being the tribulation. I am only stating with how I am understanding it thus far. I am open to listen to other theorys.

isn't the seventieth week the tribulation week? if the trumpet is blown after the seventieth week then it must be the 7th trumpet from revalations. That trumpet is blown at the end of the great tribulation with the bowls to follow right after that. The angel blows the trumet but with the direction coming from God. Please reply.
