My question should have been more specific. The position is not my question. How the seer saw is. I understand that the Kings used the seer to determine the intent of foreign representatives. The seer could advise the King as to whether the representatives were pure intentioned or meant evil. Did the seer perhaps see colors or devined the intent? I suggest that there is some meat with this potato. | ||||||

In the Old Testament the word "seer" appears and is refered to as a spiritual office designated by God. We know for instance that Samuel was a "seer" and we know further that a "seer" must be a prophet but not all prophets were "seers". Is there Hebrew research available that describes in any detail how the "seer" physically functioned in his office. | ||||||
