This Ephesians chapter 6 passage may help you, especially verus 19. If we study God's Word, trust in Him, walk in faith and in the Spirit, others will see Jesus and His love when they interact with us. I pray every day to be filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit. Faith and trust allow me to witness, pray and comfort those whom I come in contact with - I trust the Holy Spirit will give the the right words at the right time. "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should" (Ephesians 6:10-19). The website www.biblegateway.com is a great resource to do keyword searches, look up specific scriptures etc. |

2 | SHOULD CHRISTIANS EAT PORK AND SEAFOOD? | Matt 15:10 | bradin555 | 92592 | ||
It's okay for Christians to eat pork, seafood etc. In Matthew 15:10-11 and Matthew 15:17-19, Jesus answers your question: "Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen and understand. What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean'" (Matthew 15:10-11). "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander" (Matthew 15:17-19). The website www.biblegateway is fantastic!
