Hi. I was wondering; I am of mixed ethnic backgrounds (Black, White, Native American, Spanish...) but mostly Black. My mother is fair-skinned, and my father is dark brown. My younger sister came out light yellowish. I came out tannish brown :[ I have been using bleaching creams and skin lightening pills to become fair-skinned like my mothers side of the family, and separate myself from my fathers side (not literally, just in appearance). This is mostly because I feel that lighter people are treated better and look better (my fair-skinned family members make comments bout my skin) :[ I saw that tattooing was a sin because it defiled the body, so I was wondering if bleaching my skin to look lighter was a sin to? |
