1 the perfect couple deal with nakedness Gen 2:25 ahotaccents 160783
Nakedness existed. God had that knowledge. Adam and Eve did not have that knowledge before they ate of the forbidden fruit, so they did not know. I think it is similar to a child who runs around naked and is not ashamed. The adults know the child is naked, but that doesn't make the child feel shameful.
2 Paradise on earth Revelation ahotaccents 160387
I do not believe that the earth will be a paradise. II Peter 3:10 states that "The day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare." Along that line I Thessalonians 4:17 says that we will meet Jesus in the air. It appears to me that the earth will be destroyed and Jesus will not actually ever step foot on earth again but rather we will meet Him in the air.
3 Does Rev 22:19 teach loss of salvation? Rev 22:19 ahotaccents 160386
I think the best way to approach scripture is to just study and see what the verse is referring to. Allow the scripture to speak for itself rather than trying to explain that it means a certain thing and not another. If the verse is truly supporting the idea of "loss of salvation" then that is what it refers to. If it does not refer to that, then what does it refer to? I think we allow ourselves to be trapped by Satan when we try to decide ahead of time what the Bible does and does not say and then attempt to interpret it based one these decisions. The verse clearly says that God will take away their share in the tree of life. I think the safest way to deal with that verse is to recognize that God has the authority and will exercise that authority to take away an individual's eternal life if someone adds or takes away from God's word.
4 come as far as you can, I'll go the rest Luke ahotaccents 157583
I think that story was a forwarded e-mail that went around. I think it is founded on the story of the Prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32.
5 What scripture speaks of homosexuality? Bible general Archive 3 ahotaccents 157582
Romans 1 is a great place to get an idea of God's view of homosexuality. In vs. 24-27 the scriptures show that people at this time were "exchanging natural relations for unnatural ones". Then in vs. 28-31, Paul give the characteristics of these people who "did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God...to do what ought not to be done". Homosexually is then listed. Vs. 32 then finishes the thought by saying that these people are worthy of death...but not just those who practice these things, but anyone who approves of them.
I hope this helps with your study.
