1 | What happens to one who commits suicide? | Rom 8:28 | Tony33 | 40611
Thats a tough question. A person who commits suicide has a knowlege of what he/she is doing before they do it. If that person is not saved then they will not enter heaven. If that person is saved he/she will know it will be wrong to kill themself. Killing either by killing another person or by suicide when ever they are saved or not it the same in God's eyes. The reason I say the unsaved will not enter heaven when ever they kill themself or die a natural death...is becouse if the unsaved do not get Gods grace for their sins and forgiven then when we all die we will be in a state after death...we cant do anything after death its over.
2 | i want a in depth answer on romans 8:28 | Rom 8:28 | Tony33 | 40610
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his (God's) purpose. In the midst of the distress of this world, Paul has presented the future adoption of our bodies at the coming of the Lord as a source of strength and hope. The Spirit of God within us is also given as a source of strength. Now the apostle list a third source of encouragement for the believer. In the midst of sufferings of this life, God has given us knowledge that he is working ever detail of life to the end established in his eternal purpose. Grammatically, all things may be either subject or object of the verb. Therefore it is God who works things out according to his will. To them who are the called according to his purpose. The called is not in the general sense of "many are called but few are chosen" but in the specific sense of those who comprise the family of God. Therefore, the promise of all things working together for good is given to a specific group. The called (those who are in Jesus Christ and justified by his blood). The world in general does not have this promise. So if a person is saved, believes, and trust Jesus it is Jesus not us working out the promise. Sometimes it seems God may not be doing much in a persons life becouse of factorers of that person, some may not know what is going on,others may not want God in their life, but to us who are saved we have to wait and let God mold us in the person he wants us to be and that a lifelong thing. But as long s our heart is open to God he will work in our life. |
