1 | Can one who commits suicide be saved? | Mark 3:28 | The Raven | 3079
Please explain to me what God means in that John 10:28 passage? The original question was can someone who commits suicide be saved. The answer is absolutely YES. If that person is a born-again believer who on the brink of despair takes their life in one sinful action, then yes, they have already received eternal life from their moment of accepting Jesus as personal savior and will have life everlasting in Heaven.
2 | Can one who commits suicide be saved? | Mark 3:28 | The Raven | 3069
John 10:28 says - I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. - The problem with your viewpoint is that you believe just because we try to become gods, then we are God. We cannot snatch ourselves out of God's hand. No matter how crooked our thinking, God is still omnipotent and we are not. If He says we're saved by faith in Him, then no man, even ourselves, can change that as long as we have that saving faith in Him. God, in His omnipotence, also knows we may face moments of despair, so strong in fact that we may end our lives. God's love protects us from suicide as well as other bad choices we make living on earth.
