I think to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (2nd Corinthians 5:8) My dad just died in January, and the last few days while he was on hospice he would open his eyes and look "beyond" us with this look of astonishment on his face. I know without a doubt he was seeing heaven - and that the minute he died he was dancing on new legs with Jesus! | ||||||

But God is a God of love isn't he? So therefore he does love the sinner. He is love. I'm not saying he's this "nice" God who is begging people to come to Him because He loves the sinner but hates the sin." - I'm just saying that we're called to love those around us - as well as point them to God and towards repentence of their sin. | ||||||

God accepts anyone who repents of their sin. Homosexuality is definitely a sin - see Romans 1. However, God love the sinner but hate the sin. Homosexuals can become Christians, but then they would also need to leave that sin behind them. | ||||||
