1 | explain Genesis 6:2-4 | 2 Pet 2:4 | Source:Bible | 239058
Hello, you talked about context. The dictionary describes this as:"the parts of a discourse that surround a word or passage and can throw light on its meaning" if you reread Mark 12:25 as you referenced you will notice the self righteous Sadduccees who were trying to gang up on Jesus asked a question about the resurrection through use of a scenario of a woman marrying each brother....If anything when reading this it would enhance the principle. That angels taking human wives is wrong so that reference you used is not efficient. Yet again at Hebrews 1:5 you must look at the context. This is referring to the superior position Jesus has among the angels notice:after he gave his life; notice the verses before 3,4 and also after in verse 9. The term Sons of God is not mentioned here as a phrase..this is referring to Jesus position and not efficient. Remember that the Bible is harmonious, trying to misapply scriptures will only confuse and disheartened. Like you said Genesis is pretty plain about who it is referencing. I am not here to debate the Trinity, not sure how that even came into this, however it makes sense that this was your agenda in replying for Doc. It is amazing how the very verses that support Genesis 6 you discredit on the grounds of what? To support yet again secular rhetoric knowledge..why not let God's word stand. Look at what you cited at what1 John 3:1, then verse 2 which says "we are now children of God" this would the help one to see it is not a state born into such as family heritage but given by God himself. Notice the reference is Persians 1:5 it references the ransom. Romans 8:14 again is in connection with the promise to faithful ones. How did we get into the topic of dinosaurs? Try to stick to one topic at a time. Again speculation only leads to confusion. I hope that more concentrated Bible reading will help you come to the correct solution. I believe people come to this forum to find out what the Bible says on the subjects and your complex confusing of appropriate scriptures to affirm the opinion of someone else is disturbing. This is why I learned ti go to the Bible for answers not men.
2 | Do animals go too heaven? | Gen 1:26 | Source:Bible | 239035
The Bible consistently talks about God's view of humans care for the animals Proverbs 12:10; Deuteronomy 22:4 it's points out that only men were created in God's image Genesis 1:26. And to gain everlasting life it requires action only humans were created with the ability to do: John 3:36, John 17:3. Animals magnify God's love because of their companionship they provide maybe that is why we love them so much.
3 | explain Genesis 6:2-4 | 2 Pet 2:4 | Source:Bible | 239033
Hi Doc, you may have been confused I was not asking a question in reference to Genesis chapter 6 I was answering from the Bible. In the Bible is where it gives the context for who the Nephilim were in the same chapter where it talks about disobedient angels taking human wives and those women bearing children. I would think that common sense would tell us that these Nephilim which name means "fellers" being mention in this chapter is not haphazard. They were different hybrid beings by the description and their conduct. The Bible being silent as you said is not a reason to create ideas. I am not concerned with Christian Scholars belief of the Nephilim since in a lot of instances opinions are given as facts to push a person's specific ideology instead of harmonious Bible truth. Ecclesiastes 12:12-14.The Bible does not tell us that our Creator approved of these hybrid men that bully others which is the what came they did during the preflood era.So your effort to draw attention away from the Bible or discredit my referring to it is not Christian nor is your obvious condescending sarcasm. 4 | explain Genesis 6:2-4 | 2 Pet 2:4 | Source:Bible | 239022
The reference for Genesis 6:2,3 at 2Peter 2:4 where it says: Certainly God did not refrain from punishing the angels who sinned... This is the most clear definition of who were being spoken of in Genesis chapter 6. Going by the context of chapter 6 the Nephilim were the sons of the angels who disobeyed. |

6 | Why are Matthew and Mark similar ? | NT general | Source:Bible | 238867
The first four books of the Christian Greek scriptures or Gospel.MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE, JOHN is a fourfold historical record of the life of activity of Jesus each account being an independent record. They are just different in the way it is written by each writer, like details so the similarities are naturally there.

8 | Seeking first the Kingdom of God? | Matthew | Source:Bible | 238863
Hi,Matthew chapter 6 gives the answer. This means that our conduct or actions are in harmony with God's commands and will. Our whole way of life and character. Verses 1-4Jesus is telling his followers about the right motives for helping others. Verses 5-8 talk about how to pray, in verses 9-13 it shows when we pray our order. Not saying the same thing but the priority it should be in. Verses 14-15 forgiveness. Verses 19-21 not to be storing up material possessions but rather through works for God because whatever you put your must energy into is what you will love the most. I encourage you to read this chapter it is rich in understanding. Also 1 John 5:3.

11 | explain Genesis 4:6 | Genesis | Source:Bible | 238826
A question was being asked of Cain why he was so angry and dejected. To get a good idea as to why this question was asked of him verses 2-7 give a broader view of the motive and reasoning and character behind Cain's attitude and actions in verse 8. God can read the heart so no doubt he knew how Cain felt about his worship, his sacrifice and his jealously for his brother.

13 | Thank you, now in modern day how is it t | Genesis | Source:Bible | 238806
Your welcome, Humans all are descendants of Adam Acts 17:26 so because of him we all inherited imperfection which through sin leads to death Romans 5:12. However we have the ransom which serves to rescue all who exercise faith in it a opportunity to receive again what Adam lost for humankind Romans 5:19. If there were a eternal place of torment why would a God of love allow or make it? Why would he allow his son to die for us? Hellfire teaching discredits not only God but his word the Bible the ransom and much more. Who would think up such a thing? I think we know the answer to that question 1 John 5:19
14 | soul that lives forever | Genesis | Source:Bible | 238800
Hi, Genesis 3:19 says:"for dust you are and to dust you will return" Adam returned to the dust or ground from which he was created before this he did not exist and this is in harmony with what happened to those in Noahs time. If Adam and Eve survived in the spirit realm wouldn't it make the lie Satan said true that if they disobeyed God they would not die.
15 | sin to be left handed | Judges | Source:Bible | 238799
I did not find much in Leviticus about being left handed being a sin. However Judges chapter 3 gives a spectacular record of judge Ehud a benjaminite who was left-handed chosen by God to deliver the Israelites from Moab. The fact that he was left-handed aided him in battle and in the doing of God's will. So being left-handed was not a sin.

17 | all differn,t groups not possable | Gen 9:1 | Source:Bible | 238793
Acts 17:26 says "God made out of one man every nation of men" all different races come from one Adam the first of his kind, species,:humankind or homosapiens. Fast forward to after the flood of Noahs time:Genesis 9:18,19 Noahs had three sons of whom had wives by which the earth was populated with. The biological differences between humans are due to differences in hereditary constitution(physical makeup), environment(geographic) and genetic potential. It is very interesting the ability of dna.

19 | Jesus Christ your Lord? | Luke 22:19 | Source:Bible | 238788
Hi, the reason that I asked the question is due to the fact that through research we find that the month of December is Tebeth on the Jewish calendar with maximum cold and rain. Luke 2:8 says that the "shepherds lived outdoors with their flock during the time of Jesus birth" this is recorded in the Bible. Can it be consider logical in fact that shepherds would live outdoors with their precious flock during this time? However a specific date is celebrated: December 25 the same day historically that "dies natalis Solis Invicti is celebrated (birthday of the invisible sun a pagan god). In reference to Romans 14:5,6 is choosing this day really a choice approved? Did not Jesus himself scold the religious leaders of his time for similar actions Matthew 15:3. Deuteronomy 4:2. Who is adding to it, the one who chooses to create and celebrate a religious observance created from untruthful originality and personal preference or one that does not but chooses to commemorate the one observance commanded to be observed by Christ.
20 | Jesus Christ your Lord? | Luke 22:19 | Source:Bible | 238783
Luke 22:19 does say how Jesus instituted the new covenant and told his disciples to keep doing that observance in remembrance of him. However I often wonder why Jesus birth is not recorded specifically in the Bible and with that being the case why is it celebrated when Jesus did not ask us to?
