What if the individual is mentally ill, such as schizophrenia, and does not have any concept of reality and actually believes that they are hearing God's voice saying that they must kill themself? Many people do not have the right use of their mind. | ||||||

It depends upon the situation. If the person is mentally ill and does not have control of their judgments and actions, how can they be held accountable? As for other cases where persons just simply wish to escape burdens of life, it is difficult to know exactly how God would view it. In principle, I believe suicide to be wrong. Only God should give and take innocent life. |
