What conclusion do we arrive at when Matthew 18:15 says "And if your brother sins(against you),go and reprove him in private" with 1 Corinthians 13:7 (love)"bears all things" when the Greek word "stega" Strongs # 4722 means "to conceal or hide (totally and completely) as if no offense "ever" occured? Please note "against you" was added by later manuscripts and was not in the earliest manuscripts. Also note that The Lockman Foundation has not added "against you" to their latest texts. P.S. I am doing a Greek study on agape-love and am trying to reconcile I Corinthians 13 "the love chapter" with Matthew 18:15. | ||||||
